What's not to like about this hotel? As a business traveler, it's location is excellent! Easy access to freeways, 1.5 miles to Rose Bowl, a few blocks from lots of restaurants/shopping and about 12 miles from downtown LA. The staff is super friendly, rooms are clean and updated. My only complaint is the small workout facility that feels more like...

This is a standard Courtyard property that has just been refurbished. I don't particularly care for the modern drab grey and silver-grey-blue look that seems to be in vogue. Reminds me of a battleship. It is very convenient to old town and town hall areas being just 2 blocks away. It is 2 blocks from the 134 if you want...

Stayed here for week long business trip but would consider coming back for pleasure too. The location is great if you are interested in checking out Pasadena. Its a very short walk to old town Pasadena and a lot of great bars and restaurants. There seemed to be some nightlife but it wasn't raucous. It is also about 1.5 miles...

This is our hotel of choice -- smack in the middle of Old Town, with great restaurants in walking distance (Cafe Bizou and Sushi A Float are two favorites), wonderful, large renovated rooms -- all topped by the magnificent service. I am a lifetime Marriott Platinum member (over 1,000 nights) and there is no Marriott that i prefer over this...

This is one of the best hotels in Pasadena. Hotel is clean and staff are efficient and friendly. At the time of checkin I asked whether I could have a room with a mountain view, I was given a room with a very nice view of the mountains. The beds are very comfortable. Old Pasadena is walking distance from the...

Our esteem for this hotel went down each of the four nights we stayed here. Initially impressed by the beautiful interior and excellent location for both walking and driving around Pasadena, we had our first disappointment when a mysterious $50 charge appeared at 3am during the first night. This was after a standard $80 hold had been placed on the...

Spent 5 nights there last week and agree fully with "Great Location in Old Pasadena." Would add the public areas for lounging and for meals are the best that I have experienced in a Courtyard. We really like the "Bistro" concept - we love Starbucks products in the morning and nice wine bar in the evenings. Also loved the fire...

The hotel is in a great location for a wander to the downtown core of Old Pasadena. Rooms were large with very nice decor. The bed too was very comfortable. Front desk staff were excellent. Valet parking is only a couple of dollars more than self park. However there is direct access to the car park from every floor so...

We enjoyed our stay here for one night. Three sisters in a room with two queen beds. Easy walking to Colorado and Greene streets. We stayed on the mountain side - nice and quiet. Good bedding, lots of pillows. Poor lighting in the bathroom but good water pressure and nice towels. $17 per night to self-park. Friendly staff went out...

The staff where highly efficient and friendly on checkin and the upgraded rooms are very nice and practical. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised as its a major improvement over my last stay. The only downside is the chaotic ridiculous breakfast setup. Just about the most stupid inefficient breakfast experience I have ever encountered. So don't stay for the...
