Hubby and I stayed 2 nights (Monday and Tuesday) at River Lodge in one of their "park models". The one that we had booked in advances was, to be kind, a too "vintage" for our taste. Kathy moved us to a newer, nicer park model....More

The man made rock formations are known as 'Intaglios'. At the Colorado River Indian Tribes Museum in Parker, AZ they tell me that you can find them in a few different locations. I think you are talking specifically about the ones our guests have discovered out at Copper Basin Dunes. I wish I could give you directions, but I do not have them. The best I can do is give you a link to more information. You can contact the C.R.I.T. Museum at 928.669.8970 Happy hunting! Who knows what new and incredible things you may find!
