This is a converted motel circa late 1960s to early 1970s. The in-room AC/Heating units are original. Unless you enjoy the sound of a jet engine in your ear every time the unit turns on, you will not sleep. To this point, they provide earplugs in the room, so it's admittedly a problem - it's not for road noise. When...

Here at the Nest we take each review very serious and use both positive and negative as training tools for our employees. If you would...

The Nest is a single story hotel in central Palo Alto--5 minutes from the VA, 5 minutes from HP, and about 10 minutes from everything else in town. From the outside, it is an almost invisible quadrangle of a hotel just off Camino Real and Ventura Ave. If you did not know what you were in for, looking at from...

Fantastic workspace and all the mod-cons you need to make your work trip easy. Staff are super friendly and it's all those little things that make a difference - water, coffee machines, fire place, spacious rooms and power/usb charging EVERYWHERE. Stayed here twice now and can't fault it.

As others have said, this is a Palo Alto version of a motel with some creative landscaping and cladding to hide the fact that it is.... a motel with a good wine list. They kindly provide ear plugs to help mitigate the thin walls!! HOWEVER, I ended up using it twice because it is very convenient, friendly, straightforward and just...

This was the second time as part of a horse show I stayed at The Nest. The rooms are just plain amazing in a Spartan kind of way. One will never lose anything as the rooms have no extra stuff to clutter them up. Stayed two nights and was able to relax, have a glass of wine after dinner out...

The Nest is a nice little upgraded drive in motel. Some great additions on the property and in the rooms include outside fireplace, AppleTV, etc. We stayed here while visiting family. While we had to request housekeeping as the room wasn't made up and we found the continental breakfast overpriced for quality selection, we'd enjoyed our stay and would stay...

The Nest Palo Alto is basically a 4 star motel - Modern decor, clean room and bathroom and pretty spacious too. The service at the front desk during the stay was good, however they charged me more than what I expected to pay on hotels.com and were not helpful with solving the issue. I will not stay here again as...

On first look, the hotel is nicely renovated and very hip, but I should have gotten a clue from the earplugs next to our bed...someone checked in next door in the middle of the night and we could hear them talk and move around, which woke us up. The air conditioner is also old fashioned and very noisy

I ended up here quite by accident. I'm glad I did, I can sincerely recommend this hotel. So, my mother is in the hospital at Stanford, and I have made the rounds at many of the hotels here on the South Peninsula (see reviews), and have had a wide range of experiences. This hotel was recommended to me - and...

Even though this was once a motel, you will never know it once you close the door to your incredibly stylish room or when you are having a glass of wine on one of their outside couches or tables. Very friendly staff, breakfast could have been a bit better.
