Very nice homey feeling in these two Victorian houses now a B&B. Very clean and well kept. Nice blended color scheme throughout. Very close to Palo Alto downtown, just a few minutes away, but little traffic, easy to find street parking just outside, free during night, 2hr free during daytime. Loved the breakfast buffet - really a treat! Great service...

Cowper Inn is simply lovely. My room in the guest house was sweet - the facility is rather "shabby chic" in the nicest way possible. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants. Breakfast was perfect - not overwhelming and self-serve which as a business traveler made things easy. No interaction with manager except upon arrival so it isn't really like a...

I stayed in this B&B for two weeks & I loved my time there. The room was cute & old fashioned and they have kept it in the original character of the house. The bed was comfortable & the room was clean. They are environmentally conscious which is reflected in their larger refillable shampoo & conditioner bottles. Also they constantly...

We stayed for several nights at the Cowper Inn. On the plus side, the location is great and the breakfast is very nice. But, our room was in the basement, and it was very cold when we arrived. The space heater eventually solved that problem, but the water pressure in the shower was pretty low. It's nice to have parking...

My husband made the reservation for me to stay there while he was going to be at the Stanford Medical Center, so I could easily visit him, enjoy downtown Palo Alto, and thinking I would enjoy a B & B more than a chain motel. Though I easily found the inn, I had to park two blocks away, not being...

The Inn is conveniently located in central Palo Alto so that walking to restaurants is convenient, a plus since parking can be very difficult. Convenience, however, is its best feature. While the facility is clean and well cared for, our small room was furnished with a nondescript mix of elderly items and a bed that sagged in the middle. The...

Every time I travel to Palo Alto, I stay in this wonderful place. Beds are comfortable, it is quiet and breakfast is good. It was easy to walk downtown and enjoy the food. Only a few blocks from downtown but far enough away that you don't hear the noise.

I stayed here when visiting Stanford over the summer. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and I had a very pleasant stay. Due to the nature of the building my room was slightly oddly shaped with some awkward sloping ceilings, but it was still a very good size and nicely decorated. Breakfasts were fresh and different each morning, and...

I stayed at the Cowper Inn as part of a group, where we slept in one section and had a conference in another. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was quite good. The general ambiance, of the neighborhood is pleasant, and that also reflects in the common areas of Cowper Inn. If I were to go back to Palo...
