First thing we noticed were the entry way. Door flimsy and day light seen though gaps. Bathroom door know flopping loose and bottom of door look like some gods had been clawing on it. Room decor and furnitures out dated. People upstairs VERY heavy footed, pacing most of evening, keeping us up. Never were told about continental breakfast by staff...

We have stayed here during the Indian Wells tennis tournament. at the time, pretty much all the hotels in Palm Springs area were sold out. ok- this hotel is not La Quinta Resort, it's outdated and needs renovation. But the rooms pretty clean, service not bad, certainly ok to stay one night or two if you don't have any other...

Stayed here for a few nights while in town for Coachella. The grounds and area by the pool are beautifully kept. But I wish the rooms were paid more attention to. It is old, I'm talking about a radio/alarm clock with the dial to tune between radio stations-old. Beds were decent to sleep on, and seemed clean. Bathroom was ok,...

My wife & I planned to stay here for our last 2 nights of a 5 week trip around California. When you arrive at this hotel it all looks very good, the only thing we were aware of was quite a strong smell in reception of cleaning fluid. The staff on reception were friendly and they got us booked in...

We stayed here for a festival and we weren't expecting much but the hotel is just run down and run by people who look EXTREMELY unprofessional. Tattoos on their necks and wearing sweatpants. They were dealing with some sketchy phone call when we got there. The man checking us in mumbled so bad we had no idea what he was...

We wish I could have given this hotel a five (5) rating but there were some things that didn't live up to that grade. The staff was friendly (especially Ruth) and yes, I have her permission to use her name. The pools and hot water spas were some of the best we've seen in a long time. I say pools...

We have stayed at the Garden Vista numerous times. The prices are reasonable but you get what you pay for. My short vacations are to relax, enjoy the weather and float in the pool. Of the 5 times my husband and I have stayed there the pool has been warm 2 times. I even call the front desk before we...

It's a good location, well-designed, plenty of parking. But: The upkeep needs quite a bit to be desired. Just a few things: The room, while pretty spacious, did not look very inviting. No soap in the bathtub soap dispenser, a coffee-maker w/o coffee (they said they were out of coffee and expect a delivery soon), some power outlets did not...

We booked a room at Garden Vista for one night -- the evening we first drove in to Palm Springs before a three-night stay at the nearby Desert Sun Resort. So the strategy was to crash here and hit the bricks around the corner and check into Desert Sun as early as they'd allow us on the property. Garden Vista...

The Garden Vista hotel should seriously change hotel to motel. Our room was spacious and the beds were great, with an unbeatable price. We stayes for a weekend and our room never got cleaned, the floors were filthy, the paint in the bathroom was rusting off, the pillow felt like there was rocks stuffed in it. All in all the...
