Coyote Inn is a lovely oasis. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable bed, fireplace, very good wifi, private out door seating area and a wonderful heated swimming pool and hot tub. My room was a welcome retreat at the end of the day. I will definitely stay again. It is a 5 minute walk to the centre of town, but is quiet and peaceful at night. Ideal for a late swim! The hosts, Barb and Chris are warm and welcoming.
We have a great time, in fact it was too short. We stayed just 2 nights, wish we could have stayed longer. Walking distance to the main strip, we even rode bikes one day, provided by Coyote Inn. Our room also had a private patio, we stayed in room #7 the BEST .... planning on another visit in September... can’t wait ... very cozy & safe ♥️
We just returned from our second visit to Palm Springs and our second stay at the Coyote Inn (with five years in between). We are so happy at the Coyote Inn. Just what we like: a small, clean hotel in a great location with accommodating hosts. The location of the hotel is a short walk to the “main drag” and its restaurants and shops. It was also a slightly longer walk to the art museum and an easy drive to Joshua Tree National Park and many other local attractions. The hotel is ten minutes from the Palm Springs Airport. The rooms are immaculate and spacious. Really, apartment size! This time we were in room #7. Our room had a king size bed (with a great mattress), a gas fireplace and wall heater, a kitchen area, a private patio, a large bathroom, a big closet, with tons of hangers(!) and enough furniture to unpack our stuff into, so we didn’t have a week of living out of a suitcase. The kitchen area has a full-size fridge, microwave and enough “kitchen stuff” to cook and serve with. All of the decorations are southwest themed and (duh!) coyotes! There are plenty of books, magazines and movies provided to relax your hours away (but we didn’t partake of them). This time the air in Pam Springs was too cold for me to use the hot tub and/or pool. But we did enjoy them our first visit. Yes there is parking! Icing on the cake: Chris and Barb, our hosts, are sincerely interested in making their guests happy. We had some special requests due to outings with friends in the area as well a flight reschedule. Our hosts had the attitude that if it’s “doable” they will. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! We will return!…
Our week here before Christmas was delightful Chris & Barb are great hosts, very attentive & helpful. We stayed in Suite 8 with a well stocked kitchen, pots, pans, dishes, wine glasses (everything you need except food/condiments!). Very clean, great view out to the pool & grounds, hummingbirds abound, and only a short walk to downtown, the art museum, restaurants, etc. The hot tub was an added bonus after returning from hikes in desert. So nice to have really comfortable furniture in the living room area to sit and read, relax. Good bed and stunning headboard! Nice gas fire pit outside near the pool was appreciated when it started to cool off in the evenings. We used the outdoor gas grill nearly every evening. A little expensive but all the nice places in the area seem to have really increased rates.…
We were so sorry that we only had 2 nights here but we will definitely be back. Such a lovely, cosy home from home feel to the place, and walking distance to the main street with its shops and restaurants. If you are there on a Thursday check out Village Fest where the main street is closed to traffic, with lots of craft and food stalls. Great atmosphere. Thank you for a great stay Chris and Barb, you really care about what you do and it shows.
I can’t say enough good things about the Coyote Inn and it’s owners Barb and Chris.Located a few blocks from downtown and close to great restaurants..Barb picked us up from the airport and took us to Ralph’s for groceries before we checked in and Chris drove us to a movie we wanted to see and drove us to the airport when we checked out..LA Times and the Desert Sun available each morning to read while having breakfast. This is the second time we have stayed here and we booked for time in April 2020.....very clean, great pool ,magazines, books and lots of hummingbirds
Where do I start? Here come the cliches, but they are true....COZY, CLEAN,FRIENDLY...The owners, Chris and Barb, were meant to run a place like this. They are super friendly, without being overbearing or nosey, they actually care about this place and its ambience. The money I spent here was well worth it. Rooms and EVERYWHERE else on the property was clean and well pleasing to the eye. Palm Springs is lucky to have an old school feel property, without being run down, like The Coyote Inn. Next time we are in Palm Springs or near it, we will Howl at the Coyote and stay there!
Just left after a delightful five night stay Barb and Chris, both lovely, made us feel very welcome Our accommodation was clean, spacious and very comfortable with everything you could need for a stay. The grounds and pool are immaculate - you can never have enough hummingbirds Having stayed at several hotels in this area of Palm Springs, this is up there with the very, very best Thanks both - we’d love to return in the future R & J
This is a true Palm Springs Classic. Only eight units with the owners taking one of them. Other standard amenities include a kitchenette, a fireplace, an in-room library, and a refrigerator. At night you turn out the lights and the ceiling lights up with the stars, constellations, and Milky Way. Don't miss this special little place.
