Met with the hawk bird trainer this morning while at their wonderful brunch. We are from New York come to our desert home 4 times a year. We always have to make it to the Marriott for brunch and/ or after dinner drinks. I noticed the birds that are usually around the outside dining areas are not there any more.....

We just finished our first stay at the JW Desert Springs this week. We truly had a great stay and cant wait to make the trip down from Seattle again soon. My wife and I enjoyed the spa facilities the most as the platinum benefits are the best I have experienced, even at other JW resorts. Special thanks to Tim...

What a grand property! The rooms and common areas of the hotel are all very clean and inviting. The golf was excellent. Many resort courses are not that exciting, not so at this Marriott. Both courses were fun to play and in excellent condition. Only tried one restaurant on the property and it was very good. I will go back.

As a Marriott Gold Elite Member, I thought this would be a excellent resort to take my wife for the weekend. We were greeted and told they had selected a excellent room for us. When we walked in what we saw was a dated room. Our room was looking out to the water which was nice, but we were unaware...

We were greeted with a smile but as we were checking in, the front desk attendant informed us that they were full and over booked. The room we had reserved months ago was not available. After traveling for 12 hours, this was not the welcome we were anticipating. The front desk spent 30 minutes scrambling trying to find a room....

Stayed at this property and it had every amenity imaginable set in a beautiful backdrop of golf courses and mountain ranges. Definitely a must do for any relaxing romantic occasion. Don't let the desert fool you, plenty of food, music, art and culture.

We visited the JW Desert Palm in December 2014. Found the property to be beautiful. The restaurants are pretty good, the bar had great stuffed dates! Rooms were nicely done and clean. Only real issue I had was there isn't really much to do if you don't golf. Giant pool, but to cold to use. We spent some time checking...

We had the pleasure of playing the "Palms" course at the Desert Springs Marriott. Wow, what a beautiful and challenging course. It reminded me of a Pete Dye course with its hill and valley features, if you miss the green there's not much chance you'll have a flat lie.... The course itself is pristine and the use of water features...

I stayed here in December with my family and was very pleased. The resort and grounds are just gorgeous. The staff, especially the concierge, valet attendants, and bellmen made an excellent impression upon my arrival making sure everything was taking care of and provided exceptional customer service. Check in was very speedy, and the rooms were nice. Not incredibly spacious,...

Excellent Marriott, a fantastic location and a well kept hotel. I stayed here for a conference recently, great service, good breakfast...excellent conference location. Hotel is very big so can be quite a walk from one end to the other...I don't play golf but believe that the area has good facilities. Local town has some good restaurants.
