We were very pleased with our visit. The property was easy to find. Very attractive inside and out. Very clean and well appointed. Lots to do in the area. We were comfortable immediately. At breakfast the table was beautifully set. Nina is a good cook and the food was great.
The rooms are charming, clean, and quiet; the house is large and comfortable; breakfast is sumptuous and delicious; and the owners/hosts (Bill and Nina) could not be more affable, accommodating, and helpful. I've been there numerous times since they first opened in 2008, and every trip has been restful; I always look forward to returning. Whether I've been there with womenfriends for a weekend or with my husband, I have enjoyed the facilities and the charming, personable hosts. NOTE: It is a B&B, not a hotel. At approx 8,000 sq. ft., plus almost 9 acres of mountainland surrounding the beautiful house, it is not quaint or quirky or small.
Owners were very nice, welcoming people, couldn't ask for better hosts. Outside property could use a little more TLC, but the inside was pretty amazing, lots of interesting things. Stayed in the Rose room, which has an electric fireplace which keep the room toasty, and gave it a kind of romantic feeling. In the morning you wake up to a good hardy breakfast, where you can share your previous days adventures with the other guests. Check out is 11am, but you are allowed to linger if you wanted too.
From the moment we arrived to the minute we left it was amazing. Every detail was handled with care. The rooms were perfect. The Breakfast was handmade and fantastic. They made us dinner reservations at a local restaurant. Gave us food to feed the fish in the coy pond. The all night coffee bar... I wish I could have moved in... I felt so at home. I can't wait to go back.
We just returned from our trip there. The Owners are amazingly nice and very welcoming, the house/property is beautiful, (with the perfect amount of Christmas touches all around the house).. the rooms are great and the breakfast is so delicious. It was raining but Bill let us enter their little farm area and look at all of their pets. He also taught my son and me a few facts about each animal. I can't wait to go back.
