We stayed in the Paddle Suite. Nice size and layout - more like a one bedroom apartment. Our friends had a smaller room and it was nicely appointed too. Small kitchen with just enough utensils and equipment for 4 people. Will definitely visit again... on the next fly fishing trip!

There are not many choices in Nevada City. We did researched and came upon the Outside Inn. It is located just on the outskirts of town about a five minute walk to the center of town. Easy walk in a little uphill on the way back. The Inn is located on the quiet side of town. The staff at the...

We had a great time on a kid free getaway to the Outside Inn. It's a charming little place in a great location. The front desk staff was super helpful and the room was clean and had everything we needed. The only complaint was that the bed was a little uncomfortable, but we'd still stay here again.

Outside Inn is walking distance from downtown Nevada City in a very quiet neighborhood. There are a few different options for lodging there, from rooms to a 2 bedroom cottage which we rented. It's fully equipped - kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and an outdoor patio/barbeque area. Excellent service and helpful staff. And dog friendly!

Loved the small town welcome, great place to visit from traveling overseas. We loved being able to walk to town, got to know the folks who worked at SPD, ate pizza at the Northridge, ice cream from Treats, coffee from The Curly Wolf, thanks for all the great local tips.

We recently came to Nevada City and so enjoyed our stay at the Outside Inn. We picked it from other reviewers and were not disappointed. We loved the charm, the quiet, and the ability to walk to town. During the weekend it was full, but still quiet. You are able to park right outside your room. We stayed in the...

We've been looking forward to visiting the Outside Inn for a long time and this weekend we finally made it happen. From the time Liza, the manager, checked us in I knew we had an excellent choice. The was very unique, cute an impeccably clean. For a smaller, older facility our room was amazingly quiet. The room was smallish but...

Almost everything including the check in service is quite good. The only issue are the beds. They are not comfortable. This is the 10th time we've stayed there and the poor sleep experience is consistent. Unfortunately, there is a supply and demand issue in the area, and this hotel is the best option.

I stayed here for 2 nights in November. The inn is lovely, rooms are each unique with cheerful modern designs. No grandma lace curtains here thankfully. Beds are super comfy, the inn room coffee is something you actually want to drink. Owner and front desk are so friendly and knowledgeable about the area and can offer great assistance with places...
