My husband stayed here 1 night in Oct. for a family wedding. Just wanted a place to crash and this barely filled the bill. He checked in on the way to the ceremony and dropped off his bag, didn't pay too much attention to the room but noticed it was fairly clean even though it was run-down and furniture was... More

Just don't don't stay here. As desperate as you might be, stay in Grass Valley or somewhere else. A room or cabin here isn't worth $5. Meth heads stay here on the weekends and it's just not safe. Both the rooms and cabins are GROSS. Highway robbery at its finest. Please don't give these people your money!

Not only was I accused of smoking marijuana in the room I was in, they charged me $100 for the "violation"! One of the employees called after I left and left me a voicemail saying the room I stayed in "reeked" of pot. I hadn't left town yet so went back to speak to the manager, Mukesh Kumar, to make... This property has lots of potential but in need of sprucing up. It' s located close to town. Exterior areas are very pleasant and cozy set among the trees. Carpet appeared fairly new but was torn at entryway. Stain on side chair, bed slightly softer than a board, pillows flat foam, bathroom adequate (shower, toilet, sink and one small shelf).... More

Finding a hotel in grass Valley / Nevada City for under $120 is next to impossible so when I found the room for under $100 I was pleased, until my second night. I arrived on Saturday Aug 20 and when I checked in, I thought I had a clean room. The carpet and bedding looked new but there was a... More

A wonderful facility. The staff treated me so well! Exceeded all my expectations!! I was allowed to treat the facility like home. I even had some mail overnighted. I will stay again the next time I'm in Nevada City.

Room cost $80, which is about as cheap as it gets if you want to stay in the expensive Grass Valley/Nevada City area. Stayed in one of the regular motel rooms, not the cottages. Yes, it is a very old hotel, but the room was clean and well maintained for an old building. It didn't see any evidence of the... More

We moved our wedding party here from a different hotel. The staff was very friendly, and very accommodating, helping us move everyone over and providing the rooms we needed for all our guests. I could numerous times, to change rooms, and confirm rooms, etc. and the staff was very patient and friendly. The location is in a nice setting, and... More

The motel has two kinds of rooms that I saw, family cabins and rooms for singles or couples. The rooms are in the process of renovation, but I stayed in one of the old rooms and can only really comment on that. The room was of moderate size, not spacious but not cramped. It was clean and had a microwave... More

This place is undergoing a Renaissance. Stayed in May of 2016 and most everything in my room that touched my body was brand new...from the toilet and sink to the new Serta mattress, cotton linens, and variety of pillows. New carpet too. And no crappy polyester bed cover...it was a nice Jacquard cotton. We stayed in No.7 and were able... More
