When we arrived to the room we found several roaches and quickly made our way to the lobby where Jose (front desk) met us with indifference. After a back and forth of negotiating a proper accomodation due to this inconvenience, we finally met Rudy who is the maintenance engineer for the hotel. Rudy was the only apologetic and genuinely interested staff member there. He went above and beyond to ensure the room was clean and we were comfortable. If you’re looking for a good customer service here, avoid this place. We did enjoy good breakfast.
This hotel is discriminating against the Homeless housing voucher program. This hotel offers breakfast to every other person that stays at the Ramada. This program pays the entire bill with paying the full amount of the room rate for an entire month. Yet the people that are in this program and are staying at the Ramada are not able to get this amenities that the Ramada has. Total discrimination as far as i am concerned! The housekeepers go through your property when your not in their presence.
I haven't been to San Diego in years. Work brought me over here to the Ramada again. It's been upgraded from when I was last year and it looks nice. Victoria at the front desk was very friendly when she greeted me and made me feel welcomed. She was also the person who checked me out of the hotel. She gave me a review card and told me that she's happy i enjoyed my stay. I will definitely look in to coming back to this hotel for my next work trip.
My wife and I stayed for the night and it was great. Staff was friendly, the room was clean, and breakfast was delicious. The best part of our stay was at the bar that night because of our bartender Marjory M. She was very friendly and took great care of us. We really enjoyed her hospitality and the drinks were great! We will definitely be coming back to Ramada!
Victory at the front desk needs to be talked to about her customer service skills. When you talk to her she acts like she's above you just because she sits behind a desk. I've never even see her greet anyone in a friendly matter. One morning while waiting for my breakfast I heard her raise her voice at someine who needed a new room key. She's definitely an odd one out compared to Santiago, Dora and Margery who I always see greeting everyone and making you feel like a welcomed guest. My five star rating is only for the 3 people above plus management, housekeeping staff and maintenance.
