Excellent service and excellent food. Loved the fireplace. Very special. We have been here twice and both times are wonderful. The consierge and staff are so helpful. Visiting the vineyards eith my son this time and daughter last time was exquisite.
As always, the Silverado Resort provided a flawless stay, and an incredible value, in the Napa Valley Wine Country. From the moment of pulling in and they were waiting for us, through a well equipped check-in, and on to a room that was more than...More

My friends and I had the pleasure of having Besir bartend our group at the Safeway Open. He made sure to take extra care making great drinks and gave good conversation throughout our time spent at Silverado resort! He went above and beyond to make...More
I recently visited Silverado for a round of golf at the home of the Safeway Open. The North course was in great shape and the greens were pure! Upon arrival the outside staff was very welcoming. Being that this was my first time at a...More
The course is beautiful! The course is in good condition and the layout is challenging but fun. The range is big and has a good practice area for short game and putting. The bunkers have nice sand and it is really fluffy. The workers are...More
Silverado Resort and Spa is a luxury resort in the heart of the world-famous Napa Valley Wine Country. Whether you come to the Northern California area for relaxation, adventure or business, find it here. …MoreLocated just an hour north of San Francisco, Silverado is tucked away from the city while still being close to the Bay Area action. The soothing, full-service spa sets the stage for relaxing comfort, offering massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and more. But there's more to Silverado Resort and Spa than just soothing stays. Two PGA championship golf courses, which are overseen by World Golf Hall of Fame member, lead golf analyst for NBC Sports, and resort co-owner Johnny Miller, 13 lighted tennis courts, and biking and hiking trails on-site ensure excitement at every corner. And thanks to its Napa Valley Wine Country location, it's all close to more than 400 wineries. The fine and casual dining within the resort's restaurants pair nicely with local wines. Less

You really need to hire a driver and then plan out your daily itinerary. We had a driver pick us up around noon each day (or earlier on a couple days) and take us from tasting appointment to tasting appointment. We ended at a dinner location (make reservations..) and then just took a taxi back. Black Tie Taxi was great, but restaurant can arrange pick up easily for you. We used @ExecutiveCarService, Andre is the owner and he was awesome. He was able to get appointments for us at wineries that I was not able to get into as they were booked...he knows some great spots that you won't think of...So not having a car is really a bonus is you can have a driver with inside contacts. Also...the police sit outside of the wineries just waiting for wine tasters who have one tasting too many.... So in my opinion, a driver is the way to go. (I do think you can use a taxi service if you are just going to one or 2 wineries that are near each other ...or heading into Yountville to do some tastings at some of the tasting rooms and then dinner, but if you want to really experience some of the best wineries, and there are many, and they are not all close together, then a driver is the way to go)
