We stayed in Nicholas's room. Cute canopy bed with window overlooking the forest. We sat on the deck in the evening sipping some local wines as the deer came in to snack on the evening dewy grasses. Our breakfast was fantastic and prepared hot and fresh. Our hosts were attentive and no small details were overlooked. Lovely place.

My husband and I visited Napa for our anniversary and stayed 3 nights at Stahlecker House in Nicholas's room. The spacious room had a very comfy queen size bed with plenty of pillows, soft sheets, the coziest blanket, a charming electric fireplace, and huge windows overlooking the patio. The bathroom had a ton of clean towels, as much soap as...

Ron was a wealth of knowledge at this charming B&B which he and his wife built from a former bakery. You will be delighted in all the information that he has and his recommendations for local activities are a true treat. We stayed in Kira's suite and loved the tranquility and peacefulness of our time there. Definitely make it a...

If you like B & Bs - this is charming. Former private home with gorgeous back yard for sitting and relaxing and enjoying your wine purchase. Very quiet residential area. Very easy access to highway. Room was on the "cute" side but bed was good and bathroom was spacious. Breakfasts were delicious BUT ONLY served at 9 am - no...

Lovely, quiet B&B at the end of a quiet residential street. Close to the freeway for easy access to Napa, Sonoma and the nearby wineries. The room was attractive and well appointed. The host, Ron, is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the wine industry. He has many suggestions for day trips, places to visit, and places to...

Spent an impromptu night at the Stahlecker House over the weekend and had a great time! Don't plan on doing the same though, as they are usually booked 6 to 12 months in advance, although sometimes you can get lucky, especially during the week. Wonderful property, great hosts, almost like staying at a friends house (only nicer). Bedrooms are large,...

Very nice feel to the place. Felt like we were staying in a relative's home, warm and cozy. Ron is very friendly and will assist you with anything. He really does take care of his guests. Suggestion if visiting the area for the first time, book a wine tour, will give you a good feel for the area. Breakfasts are...

We stayed for two nights and had a great trip. Ron was so lovely and helpful. The room was lovely, comfy bed, really homely and comfortable. The facilities are lovely, great that you can just sit out back and have a soda. I agree with the previous comment about the shower head as it was difficult to wash our hair...

My wife and I checked in on the Thursday the 17th of July, the room was amazing ( Amy's Room ). The owner Ron is a wealth of information and can definitely assist you with any request. We were in town for the NAPA to Sonoma Half Marathon and requested information on "local" hangouts. Of course Ron had many recommendations,...

I am very surprised to see the response from the owner to my review. It's very sad when a business can't take constructive comments and use them to improve their business. I do not write lies. Trip Advisor is all based on opinions and I am entitled to write my opinion without being called a liar. Your attitude is consistent...

“The house is a $10 cab ride to downtown. You can walk if you have the energy. I would not waste the money on a car service. We had a rental for the wineries, however downtown has a plethora of tasting rooms, restaurants for every budget. Downtown has a very laid back vibe.”
