I was apprehensive to stay here after seeing the other reviews, but was pleased to have a good experience. The hotel is new, clean and convenient, located just off the highway. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was what you’d expect for a new holiday inn, plenty of room and in good shape. The beds were very comfortable. We asked for a room off the highway, and found it to be quiet. Breakfast was ok, standard hotel fare but plenty of it. Only complaints: for some reason the outlet beside the bed would turn on and off throughout the night, which would click the clock on and off, and the hot tub was out of service. For a quick one night stay on our way to the coast, this served our purposes very well.

Horrible management especially Lovely Singh who is quite literally dumb and uncivilized. I was a guest there one night, I called down to request they roll over another day. Instead of just charging my card which they had seen the night before they demanded I come down and then called the police all before 3pm. The young man who checked me in was great tho so he gets a star. I highly recommend the GM train your front desk staff on how to deal with customers because this location is not safe for single women when you have an inept front desk manager who can't problem solve and calls the police after a guest requests to extend. Again single women DO NOT STAY HERE ALONE.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights for a business trip. Upon entry, the temperature of the lobby was cold. There was an indistinguishable chemical smell that surrounded the lobby. After checking in, I took the elevator to get to my room and noticed that the hand sanitizers were empty -- for both days I stayed. My room was nice until it was bedtime. I had difficulty sleeping due to the freeway noise. It was very loud. You can also hear the footsteps from above you as the guests above me walking. Needless to say, it was a terrible sleep. I got up early around 5 AM to head to work and was surprised that the hallway lights were off. I had to pass two doors, with my phone flashlight, to trigger the light sensor - this happened on both nights/early mornings. When I got in the lobby, I noticed that there was no one at the front desk to monitor the entrance for safety issues -- happened twice during my stay. During my returns from work -- around 730pm, I expected my room to be replenished with coffee/toiletries and cleaned, but no one came in to clean it. The trash from last night's dinner, bed not made, and bathroom/toilet not cleaned. Will I stay at this hotel again? I WILL NOT ! Will I recommend it? I WILL NOT!…

Thank you for taking the time to give us your valuable feedback. We will utilize the information you've provided to better improve the stays of all our guests. I'm sorry your stay did not go as planned. We are a fairly new property with censored energy efficient lighting throughout and thanks to your feedback, we have turned off all censors in our hallways so lighting is constant. We enter rooms daily for some services unless guests' do-not-disturb signage is left on the front door. The chemical smell upon entering our lobby is only the smell of a clean property as we are diligent in keeping our property clean and safe for all guests. Thank you again for staying with us and we hope you reconsider giving us another chance in the near future.

Made reservation for 25th of Nov. On making the reservation, told agent I had a $100 gift card from Hotel.com! Was told reservations do not take gift cards. I would have to give it to hotel clerk on checkout. So, I did present it to desk clerk on checkout and was told card should have been given when I made the reservation. Said I did just that!! Hotel refused to take the Hotel.com gift card! Instead of costing me $80, it ended up costing $180. Will never make a reservation at this hotel again! The gift card was issued to me by my bank "Rewards Club!"

It is true most hotels do not accept gift cards unless its from the hotel you are directly staying at. Said there was a Covid spike so would only clean room every 5 days. I checked, no spike. Ponytailed breakfast attendant wouldn’t make more pancake batter 25 min. before closing on a Saturday. Got in an argument with her about it. The same attendant was the person who came to clean my room on the 5th day and ignored my do not disturb sign at 9:30 am. She kept knocking despite the sign and me yelling that I was coming ( I wasn’t dressed). When I answered I asked if she could come back later, but she wanted to do it then because she had just finished the room next door, and I’m paraphrasing, but basically I would mess up her routine if she couldn’t do it then. The other breakfast attendant with the very short hair who was there most days, did a most excellent job! She kept everything well stocked and was really on her toes. When the pancake batter ran out, she was apologetic (no need to be, it happens) and promptly made more. I really appreciated all of her efforts.…

Came to this hotel for one night to hang out with friends and do some wine tasting and gambling. This hotel sits off to the side alone since it’s a new holster on the quite street. Very clean when yo walk in. Grounds were kelp clean. Check in process was great we even go an early check in. Lobby decor nice. Rooms very clean. The walls are kinda thin but we weren’t in the room that long. Great for business travel if you want to get some work done. Not noisy you can hear walking if your below someone. Overall great place will be back.

The hotel is a fairly new property and located in tucked away location off the main street St. Ivy Los Alamos. Beautiful lobby area. Our room was beautiful; typical holiday inn updated rooms but very clean. I cannot account for any of the other rooms but our bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. I'm not sure what the protocol is for guests pacing the floor from 3 a.m. til 3:45 a.m. I guess next time I will check the cost to be on the upper floor. It's sad that hotels are charging just to be on the upper floors as another way to get more money out of a person. Not having an exhaust would be my only concern. The breakfast food was horrible. They offered these round omelettes that seem to be precooked. My veggie omelet had a few red peppers and the underside was a little hard. My fiancee cheese omelet had some kind of process cheese squirted in the middle of the round egg and the underside was dark brown. This was why we searched for other places to have a decent breakfast. We will be back if we stay in the area next trip.…

The front desk was very unwelcoming and rude. Two individuals very unfriendly. We arrived around 8:30pm with the children and there was not even a hello. The air conditioning unit was old and noisy. It had a terrible cooling chemical smell. The walls are very thin and we could hear strong footsteps upstairs and two drug dealers in the next room making their deals at 2-3 am.

If you dont care or dont believe there is a pandemic, then come here,, they will not require you to wear mask.. i gave two because cleaning ladies are on it,, cleaning all common areas regularly, staff is nice but cant implement mask rule as told by management.. I came to stay for 3 night stay i thought,, but covid test will not be ready, I am on my 4th night i ext 1 night hoping I get results back,, but website says will be 2 more days for results. I checked online what ihg said about covid-19 protocols they had and looked good. I called ahead and asked if they were fully booked and they said they not and were low because of California stay home mandate and that they would only clean rooms upon chek out of 5th day of stay. Which I thought smart so it lessens the risk for their employees. Also im trying to stay away from people in this covid spike. I come and there's a man checking in without a mask. With that I should have tried to cancel but I booked through 3rd party and non ref. My big mistake. I mainly stay in my room trying to isolate and wait on a negative covid test so I can go stay with my fam for xmas and see my grandma with a mask on. But now I feel I have been exposed just from walking in halls and going in elevator. This hotel DOES NOT MANDATE MASKS. There are signs everywhere to wear them in common areas but they are not asking guests who they see without a mask to put one on. I am not rich so already paid for hotel through 3rd party so it would be money lost if I cancel. I am booking a diff hotel for remainder 2nts. Not only have I seen people without mask but I go in elevator and at 2 diff occasions people came into elevators with me without masks. I of course got out of elevator and waited for another. I go down and tell the front desk and she says they are not allowed to ask people to leave if not wearing mask- ok fine they paid for room. but what is worse they are not even asking them to put one on! We stayed here one night on 12/10. Checked in just prior to 1500 and the front desk was very friendly and helpful. On my profile I request a top floor away from elevator. I was assigned a 3rd floor room, but the desk clerk was able to move me to the 4th floor into a king suite. The lobby area is very spacious and clean. The hotel rooms face north and south. The north rooms over look the theater and High School. Our room was a south facing room and had views of the freeway, and the Temecula Valley. On Friday nights during football season if you have a room on the east end of the hotel it could be problematic if there is a home game. (noise and lights) As this is a relatively new hotel it seems as though it could have been constructed a little more sound-proofed. The traffic noise from the freeway was very noticeable in the room. In the room every thing worked, there are USB ports aplenty. The desk lamp has plugs for European style electrical devices. No bath tub in our room, just a shower which is nice. There is a large floor safe in the closet. This is by far the largest safe I have seen in an IHG property. The A/C and heating is not central but a window unit that is controlled from the wall thermostat. It rapidly heated and cooled the room and kept it comfortable through the night and was quiet. The television is a large screen with a lot of features, however the view your bill feature did not work (see photo) Due to the ongoing virus, the breakfast dining area is closed, however breakfast is available as a take-out feature. You let the server know what you want, they pack it in a Styrofoam box and you dine in your room. The cheese omelet, sausage and cinnamon roll was hot and tasty. Also affected by the virus is the usage of the pool and fitness center. Only one person or family allowed at a time in either facility as was explained by the desk clerk. We did not utilize either amenity. Located close by (a short walk) are numerous restaurants and a movie theater. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay. All staff we encountered clerks, breakfast server, cleaning staff were all very friendly and pleasant. All the amenities worked fine. The only drawback was the freeway noise, which may be less noticeable in a north facing room.…
