I've stayed in all range of hotels... I often pick the cheapest a town has to offer and I'm prepared to be met by less than ideal rooms. The Seaside Inn was a nice surprise. The rooms are updated, they have cable, Wi-Fi, and it's clean. Small, but perfect for the price. It's clean, the bed is comfortable, there's even... More

Incredible value! This place just got remodeled with granite counter in the bathroom. Tastefully decorated and clean. It's across a street from a breakfast place and walking distance to the embarcadero with amazing views of Morro rock.

We were headed up Highway 1 but it was fogged in so we opted to spend the night in Morro Bay before heading North. This was a good decision for several reasons 1) the next morning the fog lifted 2) there aren't too many places to stay further North between Morro and Monterey if you are driving the long and... ....good price for the location, but it does have street noise and the breakfast choices aren't good. The milk was spoiled and the "orange juice" is something like Hi-C. Room was clean and comfortable and had a microwave, fridge and desk. The owner is very sweet, but his employee was very rude at check in. It's only one block to... More

Arrived on a dull foggy afternoon. We were on the third floor which gave us views of the bay...or would have done! Beds very comfortable, pillows soft, all very clean. Laundrette 2 blocks up the street, restaurants, bars and wayerfront 2 blocks down. Next mornimg we woke up to find fog had lifted and we got our view! Who put... More

Okay so stayed at this hotel for the first and last time. The price was 189.$ for a Saturday night. The room smelled musty, dirty, maybe mildew? My husband was bit by some bug at night, woke up to find earwigs crawling on my thin brown blanket, Gross. I had stayed at sea air inn, awesome hotel so clean, also... More

Our preferred budget place to stay in Morro Bay was booked up so we stayed here instead. This place is really conveniently located about a block away from the water and very close to Giovanni's Fish Market. The room was in really good shape having recently been refurbished. I did notice one or two bugs in the room the next... More

Really appreciated the size of the room and the nice shower. The desk person was quiet but very nice and helpful. Will definitely return. Loved Morro Bay and was quite at home in the room. Ate at the Great American Restaurant. Food was good and service excellent. Want to try renting a kayak next visit. Definitely drive around the coast... More

The room had a very strong smell of smoke... There was mold in the shower and we found a hair in the pillow. The room was noisy, we could literally listen other people conversations. However the location's pretty good.

When I got a $60 room deal walking distance from water I was expecting a run down place. The motel was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms were newly renovated with everything new. The breakfast was better than what you get at other places with higher rates. The manager was helpful will all requests and local information.
