Used to stay here....and went back Big MISTAKE its been bought and managed by a "foreign interest" who is buying up motels and running then...into the ground... Made reservations...for a price...not honored, poor maint, poor staff ( not locals but foreign) Would never stay here...More
We had a wonderful stay. Will be there again in December. Property was clean and it's near the Restaurants and shops. The room was very comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Room was quite spacious. You will love it.
Booked one nit's t for $53. Sandpiper Inn is an older motor lodge type. Well kept, small property, w good location and park the car two steps from the door to my room. No A/C, but weather was good so no problem.

Stayed for one night at the Sandpiper inn. Rooms are clean and tidy, and the inn is at a good location, close to the Morro Bay Embarcadero. Friendly staff. Decoration of the rooms is perhaps dated, but for this price you really can't go wrong.
No AC/heat in the room at all, and it was muggy. Noisy with paper-thin walls. Mattress was cheap and hard. Breakfast was only dry cereal and carbs, no fruit or protein. Advertised as two rooms, but only one. Very disappointing. We paid $200 and we...More
