This was billed as an ocean view hotel which isn't really the case. The hotel is only 3 stories so you can kind of see the ocean at a distance on the other side of the freeway. It is in front of small man made lake though. We started in Room 301 which had a separate room with a king...

This hotel looks to have been updated recently, so the carpet, bathrooms, etc. all looked really good. Beach is about a 5-10 minute walk away. Even though Highway 1 is near the hotel, the traffic noise was kept down to a bare minimum. I'm pretty picky when it comes to noise and if I didn't notice it, you probably won't...

For the location and simple/basic hotel like this, it is overpriced. The location is right by a highway, and can get noisy. It's a bit far from downtown or cannery row, etc. But as it is a newly renovated hotel, the room was nice.

Newly renovated in contemporary silver, white, gray, & black. To me- not romantic colors but, safe, very clean, comfortable, & close to biking, running, walking path to beach. Easy hop to tourist areas & good food.

This hotel seems to be fairly new. It is sleek and modern. Staff was friendly and efficient. It had plenty of outlets to charge electronic devices. The bathroom was well appointed with toiletries you would expect.

The hotel is a little bit off of the main area of Monterey (it's located more towards Seaside), but there is a walking path right next to the hotel that will take you down to the wharf and pass beaches. (It is about a two mile walk to the wharf.) I loved that the hotel is on the smaller size...

Nice location. Little lake for walking right across the side street. Near both Seaside and Monterey. Fairgrounds and airport just a few minutes away. Parking is a little tight so get your space early.

The staff (especially Hope) were extraordinary! They assisted in every way possible from the minute we arrived. Very nice, clean hotel. The complimentary breakfast offered many healthy (and unhealthy) options. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay!

We stayed at this hotel recently on our way down to Big Sur. The room was huge, the bed extremely comfortable and everything was super clean. The location, whilst a little way out of town, was close enough to be handy for a few short trips about Monterey.
