The Hotel Lucent has big, clean and updated rooms with mini-fridges and Keurig machines, great complimentary breakfast, a lap pool, a fire pit, fitness center, and a comfortable indoor-outdoor lounge. It's ideally located near a CVS, Staples, and Safeway, for all your office supply, toiletry, and snacking needs. It's well within walking distance of the center of Menlo Park, which...

In town for football game. Easy walking distance to Stanford Shopping Center/Campus/Stadium. Good value in area of higher priced hotels. Front Desk staff friendly and responsive to guest requests. A late check out was graciously accommodated and bags were stored since our flight out wasn't until early evening.

Great place to stay, clean, and comfortable. The giant hot tub is awesome and the free breakfast is great. The beds are comfortable, but they are double beds, if you get a room with two beds. I don't want to share this because then everyone will find out this great place!

We were excited to find the reviews matched the excellent accommodations we received. It was quiet, close to all our events, and next door to the grocery store. We loved the poo table. The staff at the reception desk, the cleaning staff, and breakfast crew and the checkout person were all excellent; we had no glitches in the reservations, check-in,...

This place doesn't have a fancy chain name but what a wonderful place. Had all the amenities one could need, a close walking distance to lots of food choices, late night shopping, and Stanford Campus.

Quiet and comfortable hotel with easy accessibility to many highways, SFO, and the Foothills. Nice breakfast, and I loved the outdoor courtyard. The weather was amazing, and a welcome break from what I have been dealing with in PA.

I selected Lucent for its close proximity to Stanford Medical and it clean and cool look on the web. I was very pleased with all that we experienced at Lucent... the facilities, the rooms, the outdoor patio, and breakfast area. Everything was clean, well managed. They accommodated us with an extended checkout so my daughter could rest after her visit...

My husband and I enjoyed our recent stay at the Lucent. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to downtown Menlo Park and one block from the Cal Train. The room we had was very modern and spotless but lacked storage space. The complimentary breakfast was OK if you're not too fussy, but be prepared to wait...

Start with a warm circulating lap pool. A pool table off the lobby and breakfast area. Great staff that is always willing to help out. There are a few things beyond their control, like... you know like where to eat lunch or dinner, what airline carrier is better, who you can call for a ride... a trusted cab driver who...

Most of the time we visit the area we stay in Palo Alto. This is the first time we decided to venture North of Stanford and stay in Menlo. This hotel is right on El Camino Real, but even so, in a room that had windows facing El Camino Real, we were not aware of road noise at all. They...
