My wife and I love to fly up to Mendocino to get away from our busy life. We love to stay at the MacCallum House Inn. We stayed in room 17 in the barn. It has a hot tub on our deck outside, jacuzzi indoors, sauna, and a wood burning fireplace. The bed is very comfortable and the view is... More

We spent two nights at the MacCallum House Inn. We rented the Ocean Song house. It is a two bedroom house, a short walk from the Inn. The views from the deck, living room and master bedroom are spectacular! The house itself is very nice except for the downstairs bedroom and the two bathrooms. Both bathrooms need work. The vanities... More

My husband and I booked the honeymoon suite, room 32, at this Inn for our 30th anniversary celebration. What a disappointment. When we entered the room there was a very strong odor... we think it was pet urine... so strong we had to open the sliding glass door in spite of the chill. No amount of fresh air would change... Called ahead the night before to reserve a room at the MacCallum House and to make dinner reservations. No problem with reserving a room, the agent was very polite. When we arrived we found a small desk on the second floor of an old victorian house. Very cramped and no privacy talking to the “front desk”. (BTW, I wouldn’t recommend... More

Such a beautiful place- so many rooms/suites to choose from. A historic house-totally updated and beautiful. The grounds are lovely. Mendocino is a small town. This is right in the middle,so you can easily walk about. A lovely dining room & bar. Our dinner was terrific, service was great. Can't wait to see what breakfast will be like.

The website makes this inn look like it is right on the coast, in fact it is a few blocks away and the room we stayed in didn't even have an unobstructed view. Our reception was lack luster and directions to our room resulted in a 15 minute walk around the property. The room itself was nice enough, however the... More

My husband and I have been wanting to have dinner at the MacCallum house. We live about an hour an a half away, so we decided to go up and spend the night. We arrived a bit early but were warmly greeted and given our keys to the Napoleon Room in the MacCallum suites. We were told they were a... More

First & foremost our stay at the MacCallum House suites was very good. The MacCallam Suites are situated on the town outskirts about 10 minutes walk to the main hotel & very quiet. Our suite was very well presented with a sea view above the town. The quality of the breakfast which is taken in the hotel itself was good... More

We spent the night here recently and had a great time!!! The complimentary breakfast was Awesome and more than we expected. The rooms were clean (we had two rooms next to each other) & very well appointed. I was slightly disappointed there was no air conditioning but most times it is not needed in Mendocino. The location couldnt be better... More

We made a last minute resveration sight unseen at the maccallum house and it was the finest accommodation of our 2 week trip up the coast. It is a bed an breakfast house and everything was absolutely perfect. The price was reasonable which included a terrific breakfast and the staff were very friendly. Also, eat at the reastruant downstairs it... More
