We stayed here for one night after Yosemite - the room was okay even the bathroom was very small (very tall people may have some problems to take a shower...). Breakfast is included but is not that good.

The check in was super easy. We arrived a little late, but the room assignments were on a chalkboard outside of the office. We were on our honeymoon so Jill sent us champagne and orange juice for us to have mimosas. So cute! The complimentary breakfast was nice as well. The bagels were great! Everyone we talked to was so... More

We stayed here for one night before traveling on to Yosemite. The room was small and the bathroom/shower was even smaller. I was a little upset about the price of the room given the size and its furnishings. However the room was clean and they offered a nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. Also check-in and check-out was a breeze.

We arrived after spending the day at Yosemite. The place was closed but a chalk board with room numbers and instructions was there to give us all the info we needed. WIFI instructions as well. The room was cosy with everything necessary for a great night's sleep. In the morning, there was a continental breakfast ready in the restaurant. We... More

I really liked the check inn procedure: we arrived there quite late And we found the instruction written on a poster at the bar. The room itself was a bit old but it is totally ok for one night. I enjoyed the breakfast selection, with muesli and fat free yogurts, unusual to find in these kind of motels. The staff... More

Breakfast was exceptional -- fresh fruit, homemade muffins and bagels, a great variety of beverages in cooler, granola, etc. When I told the owner that my grandsons were coming for breakfast she said she'd whip up some pancakes. They were very good. The bed was comfortable and room had a cool new A/C that was whisper quite; it had a... More

First, finding an economical motel close to Yosemite is hard to do. If you are looking for a quaint, old motel with free wi-fi, air conditioning, a small flat screen tv, with a friendly owner who provides homemade muffins for breakfast, then this is the place for you. The motel is old, but it is clean, and the sheets and... More

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night. The owner, Jill is wonderful. Welcoming and helpful. The room was quaint and super clean. Freshest linens and comfortable bed. Complimentary Fresh baked breakfast items and coffee. Oldest hotel in Mariposa and has the charm to match. We will definitely stay here again the next time we pass through Mariposa

Finding comfortable, reasonably priced accommodations around Yosemite has always been challenging for us. It's the law of supply and demand around the park. The River Rock Inn was clean, the bed was comfortable and they provide guests with great white chocolate chip/cranberry cookies. On the downside, we considered the price a bit high and its location is about an hour... More
