We were expecting an apartment with a similiar hotel experience but we did not receive that. First, they went the worst apartments out for hotel type/air bnb rentals. First, I booked the one bedroom apartment thru American Airlines site so that I could get bonus...More
This hotel was the perfect place to stay for a week in Los Angeles. Located on a cute strip of beachy restaurants and surf shops, it's about a 7 minute walk to the beach and a 20 minute walk from Venice Beach. The hotel itself...More
I stayed there more than 1 month and an half. It became my second home. A perfect place for students. Very close to Venice Beach (like 3 minutes by walking). The hot tube was the best place to chill, relax and meet people. Nice rooms,...More
This is not a hotel! Made for long term residence and they rent out the worst rooms as hotel rooms. Dirty bathrooms and kitchen. Housekeeping avoids stopping by to clean up the room or replace towels. The only plus side was free parking, but it...More

Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it
happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.

no. don't bother. it's awful
staff cant be bothered when you raise an issue and it takes days to get the broken stuff fixed. Also steps everywhere incl. up to the front door and no access for wheeling luggage or less able people. A ting pokey horrible batbroom dated rooms no AC in bedrooms so it was really uncomfortable also it's so noisy even with Windows closed. We left three days into our 8 day stay and got a refund from our travel company . The hotel is old overly complex and difficult.to find your way around and not very clean
