Our family and friends have been camping here for over 26 years, every November. So relaxing, with plenty to do! Convenient to town and lodging for others to day visit, If,not able to actually camp. Handicap accessible parking and restrooms. We love it here!

Stayed for 2 nights in July with 4 kids and 3 adults. Goods: 1. Close to beach 2. Spacious for beach campground 3. Relatively clean toilets/showers Bad: 1. A lot of mosquitos between 5pm-7pm 2. It gets little windy between 5pm-7pm. Be prepared to cover your food/tents/gears. Summary: The water was cold, there were few people swimming in the water...

Second year in a row. My sons can't get enough of the beach and the camping. It is clean and everyone is so super friendly. Will we be back next year, absolutely. The best sites are 1,2, and 3. We had no issues with the bathrooms or showers. Fun was had by all.

We came up to the campgrounds to use it as a parking base while we hiked Sycamore Canyon, my friends had done this before. Nicely laid out campground, we'll have to book it for a camping trip. Hiked up the canyon and got nice scenic views of the coastline plus the canyon and the interior. Not too strenuous. Enjoy.....

We visited in February during the week, so there were only a few other campers. There were bathrooms and showers available, and the sites were flat enough to comfortably pitch our tent. There were wonderful trails just behind the campground that led to amazing views of the ocean and mountains.

For 5 years now, we've been coming here for Thanksgiving week - one couple in an trailer, one in a tent. Plus dining canopy and Kitchen set up. Lots of room for us to spread out & entertain (we live 15 minutes away). We love it here - Park Rangers are kind, facilities cleaned regularly. We got evacuated due to...

Camped here on a Friday and Saturday night with a large group of people. It's very close to the beach, about a 10-minute walk from our campsite - gorgeous sunsets over the water, as expected in SoCal. Fire pits were fine, firewood is sold about a mile away. Our campsite had three or four benches that were rearrangeable, which was...

My four sons ages 15,13,8,and 6 had the best week here. There was plenty for each age group. Hiking and the beach are always a hit. We were in camp site 1, next to the bathroom. No smell and very little noise. Quiet hours were enforced after 10.... There was a good thick fog our first morning, but by noon...

My girlfriend and I stayed at campsite 10. We chose this campsite because it was very secluded and conveniently located no more than 5 feet away from a major trail head. Though this campsite was somewhat small and far from the bathrooms, at night we were far from the other campers, their noise, and the light that their campsites gave...

This campground is located in a shaded canyon just a short distance from the beach. The sites are not really very private although they are a decent size. The park has two distinct areas, one straight ahead is more suitable for tents and another to the left (after the guard house) is more suitable for RVs. I stayed there in...
