Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.

Bed had a huge lump in the middle, so I had to sleep on the side. The shower is hard to operate. Overall very expensive for what you receive in return. The toilet seat did not stay up due to a poor design of a bar behind it. I thought the robe in the room was dirty. The shower

Hotel is in a great location in Hollywood. Close to many restaurants/bars/nightlife. Check-in staff was on-point, attentive and friendly. The value in the rooms, however, is lacking. Stayed in a Platinum King Deluxe room which is comparable to a small one-bedroom suite with

Dear TheHonestWord, Thank you for your honest review of Dream Hollywood. Sadly, we did not meet your expectations and apologize for the few issues you experienced during your stay. However, we are confident that one of our Gold King or Platinum Studio King rooms would be more to your liking as they offer a more spacious layout and hope you will give us another try in the future. Thank you for the kind words about the staff and we look forward to make your next visit a fantastic one. Best, Anna Izquierdo Executive Assist. Manager

Regarding noise, the only time that I heard noise was when I went to the Roof-top of the hotel, which is where the nightclub is located. Once in my room, I didn't hear any noise (the building is insulated, like hotels at the airport). Regarding safety, I walked around the area a few times after 10 pm (and got lost) and after 1am, as well as walked to the bank about 4-5 blocks away, and no one bothered me, and there was absolutely no shortage of people walking around the area. Most people are dressed for going somewhere (restaurants, nightclub, or tourists; not standing idle). In Hollywood, like any other urban city in the world, you should be aware of your surroundings.

There are fridges in the rooms but they are not for guests to put stuff into. If you remove the items in the fridges, you will be charged. So unless you plan on drinking the stuff, leave it alone. Every hotel of this level should have small refrigerators they can bring up for guest use, for medicines and food as you have mentioned. Call the front desk or ask about them when you check in.

No. At least not that I noticed. There is a security deposit as with most hotels. But you get that back. Tip: you will have to pay for the slippers if you use them just like anything from the mini bar.
