Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

While LA's ever-changing mask mandates are undoubtedly a challenge Aventura Hotel has continued to falsely advertise a 24/7 gym and common areas for over two years while both remain closed. Worse yet, e-mail them or call and they'll tell you it "should be open" by your arrival date - in May 2021 and again February 22. Same sign, yellow tape and lies across 10 months while nearly every other hotel from LAX to Pasadena has reopened common areas. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice? Liars.

Well it is still a great location, especially if you're considering to visit local Korean restaurants in Ktown LA. I must say that it's been roughly 2.5 years, of course pre-covid days, but I was just completely shocked of the overall deterioration of the facility. On my last visit, the place was VERY clean and organized and I cannot deny the fact that it was the main reason for my re-visit there. However, the place has turned into one of the single star motel, which should cost well below $100.00 per night with its location considered. This place needs to be completely cleaned and renovated! It is just filthy! Do not get fooled by its rating people, I would just get a major name brand hotels nearby the downtown area. Hotel "Line" is okay, but it is way overpriced, tiny and noisy at night due to the bar on the lobby!

Most hotels in koreatown charges for parking, many as high as $50/night. We opted for this hotel as it’s fairly new and has a very modern feel to it. The hotel has an underground garage and parking is free. Check-in was smooth and they had my room key ready. Location: Many restaurants and massage spas within walking distance Noise: absolutely terrible. The walls are paper thin that you can hear your neighbor next door. We were on the 4th floor and from 3AM - 6AM, the guest above us would walk around and we can hear every footstep as loud as a bass drum which made it very difficult to sleep. Other than the noise, this hotel is great. We will definitely stay here again

I needed to be in Koreatown for a couple of nights and this place looked clean and the biggest perk was the free parking. Parking can be very expensive in LA, so I thought this was a steal. The check-in process was fine, the room was clean, bed was average. However... The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything. Both nights of my stay, there was yelling/screaming. Once coming from the hallway and once coming from a guest in the room next door. Both incidents happened, respectively, at 4 and 6am. My first night the front desk called me - without announcing who they were, to ask my name and what type of car I had, then hung up. As a female traveling alone, this made me uncomfortable. I called them back to make sure everything was okay and they stated that they misplaced my paperwork and I would need to come down and sign/initial again. I didn't and it was not brought up again. Overall, if you need/want to be in Koreatown, this place is fine and inexpensive for the area. Otherwise, stay elsewhere. I live in So Cal and wish I would have chosen Burbank as it is a nicer area with better quality hotels for near the same price. Seriously the walls at this place are paper thin and if you're a light sleeper, it would do you better to find better quality.

Pros: - quick and efficient service - clean! - nespresso in the room - great price the room - clean bathroom/shower - bed is comfortable - free parking Cons: - Koreatown isn’t as glamorous as other parts of LA - AC is a bit loud but I still slept without being disturbed Would stay here again!

We spent one night here while grandma watched the kids and it was perfect for what we needed. The hotel had FREE parking which is a big deal. Checkin was easy, staff courteous, lobby was sparkling. Our room was on the 2nd floor which didn’t offer any great views but I can’t imagine any of these rooms having a great view based on location. The beds we found to be very comfortable (pillows a little too airy) but what was wonderful was that you can get true blackout with the curtains! Totally necessary for these tired parents. In-room coffee was excellent except they don’t provide cream and the machine sounded like a super loud didgeridoo in the early hours. They don’t provide the small hand towels (which we never use anyway). Excellent accommodations. Will come back.

Needed a more reasonable place close to a relatives place and Hotel Aventura fit my needs. The first, and certainly important, was that the Hotel provides free covered parking. The rooms are fairly modern, having been re-done about 3 years ago. The room is comfortable and typical of many other Hotels with a King Bed, Desk, Side Chair, HDTV, etc. This Hotel still provides daily room service, where as other have reduced this service to every 7 days. I was surprised that the Bathroom Linens do not include Wash Rags! The place can be a little noisy from other guests stomping on the floor when they walk, or talking excessively loud but it's still a good place to stay. There is security in the evening hours. The staff is very polite, professional, and accomodating. I highly recommend Hotel Aventura. I hope you find this review helpful in masking your next travel plans.

So i know it's undersandable why hotels would be very sturn about there checkout times. Being that they do make money by the time you say and the faster a room is trundled around and cleaned and everything they can go and realist it for the next room could be sold. now typical i notice 2-3 starts check outs are at 11 late check out is at noon. But the hotel Aventura now is the outlier out this because they are admit about late check-out is at 11:30 and you will be checked for another day if 1 min over. so if you don't mind and your a person the is following a strict schedule amazing hotel but if your not i would definitely go somewhere that is better. that why i would keep this hotel at a 2.5 maybe 3 (3 only bc the stuff cant be blame for bad Policy) but never and 3.5 or 4 start bc of this.

I needed to be in close vicinity to MaCarthur Park and this was the nicest, newest hotel I could find online. I was a bit skeptical at first, because it was priced pretty much the same as much older, run down looking hotels in the area. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised with the clean, beautiful hotel that looked just like it did in the pictures. The staff was excellent. Brian the Manager checked me in and was super professional and accommodating for my needs within my budget. I ended up staying longer than I anticipated and William at the front desk was equally as pleasant to accommodate my needs. The room was very nice, clean and well maintained. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking in the area.
