The rooms are tiny. There isn't even a small table or desk to sit at to work or eat. The bathrooms are dated and there is insufficient light. There is only an ice machine on one of the floors. Entry to the rooms is from outside.

Dear s0nicez, Thank you for sharing your experience, assuredly we take every opportunity to learn how to improve from the feedback of our guests. Should you choose to stay with us again, I would recommend changing to an executive king room as this type does provide a desk with writing/eating space. This is a great hotel in a very convenient location. We chose The Carlyle Inn mostly based on the price and were really happy. Check in was a breeze. We were all set in under 5 minutes. The parking garage was so convenient and really great for the price. $18 per night to not have to worry about street parking,...

Very pleased with my first stay. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Great staff who was helpful with all questions. I will stay there again when I'm in the west LA area. I would recommend it highly!

The management and service were very helpful. The rooms, though small, had everything you would need. Outlets to charge 2 phones at the bedside, large towels, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair dryer; it had all the amenities.

This hotel is great--we really enjoyed the free breakfast and wine and beer happy hour--the decor in the room was great--we got a good deal with their Cyber Monday deal and it was worthwhile. We were very close to Beverly Hills and would recommend it. In terms of improvement, it would be nice if there was a restaurant and room...

The first night of my stay I was awaken at 2:00 am by the people arriving at room 202 ....they continued to loudly "party" for several hours. The second night, the room above me was occupied by people that seemed to be constantly running around the room...I thought I was sleeping below a basketball court. Not very relaxing level of...

A great place to stay in LA for a few days. The location is central to most things and the staff were super helpful and eager. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are on the small side for LA. The designers have done an excellent job
