8 hungover travellers on a 5 week long bender with one brain cell to share between them found this the most welcoming and affordable accomodation they had stayed in. Lovely staff, great people!!! Free snacks!

First time to LA so I was excited to come out and see the Hollywood city area. Location and staff are good but that's about it. Room is spacious but had a tired look to it. There is some modern furniture in the room such as desk area but really feels odd since the room and property has an older...

This is my very honest review of this hotel. Pros: -Great location if you are doing the Hollywood scene. Close cab rides to Universal and Warner. -Staff is really great. Friendly and accommodating. -Free: snacks (huge selection), self serve soft ice cream, fountain pop, and Popsicles. -Free Dvd rentals (huge selection) -Free laundry service. I believe they will do it...

We stayed here for 2 nights in February and the ladies on reception were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Snacks, ice cream, soda, recommendations for places to eat and visit, directions to Universal Studios on the Metro etc. I have to agree that the property is a little tired in places - but clean. We had room 200M, 2...

The good thing is that nothing has really changed here. The friendly staff, the location, the comfy beds, the comfy rooms, the soda machine, the ice cream machine, the pool, the snacks, the DVDs. All that we came to love from the Magic Castle are still there. The way the staff accommodated our request for a late checkout- amazing again!...

We loved our time at the Magic Castle Hotel. Our family of five slept very comfortably in the suite and the kids loved all the amenities the hotel offered. As did the adults! What's not to love about free ice cream and soda/drinks available 24/7 and snacks upon request. Despite the chilly weather, we enjoyed the heated pool which was...

It's not a 5-star hotel - the physical place itself won't allow me to give it a 5-star review. Can't get around that. It's an old place with - at least ours was - small rooms and a 50's kind of chic. But the staff is absolutely top notch, considerate, and flexible. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say...

Wow what a fun place to stay! If you can look past the tiredness of the property and the rooms you will have an absolute blast here! (If you have your heart set on modern shiny luxury then this isn't for you) The staff were amazing and more than accomodating and the room was the biggest by far we had...

Though not officially related to the Magic Castle (and located adjacent to that property) this is a well kept, friendly hotel. It is well located for walking in Hollywood and a good spot if you are thinking about the Hollywood Bowl. Looking forward to returning.

This little gem in such an easily walkable location for Hollywood boulevard was a terrific find. My daughter and family were staying there while I stayed with duster, we wanted to join them, it's great! I have never received such kind attention to detail in any other hotel, a real stress reliever when staying with a baby. Little duck and...
