We had an amazing stay here in January of this year, this time unfortunately not so much. Starting on a positive note, the valet was very friendly and professional! We were also checked in by a friendly staff member who stated she was upgrading us to a King room (I thought I had actually booked a king room but wasn't sure). As a titanium member, I never expect upgrades but it is always an appreciated surprise when it happens. The first thing we noticed was that the room was very small with the only window facing windows in the building next door. We aren't picky and were not planning on spending a lot of time in the room so we settled into the room for our stay. At 9am the next morning we heard loud drilling and other power tool noise and loud voices coming from the room next door at the end of the hallway. Our room was second to the end. I walked in the room to find a construction crew tearing out the room. One of the workers stated that they were scheduled to work on it all weekend. We approached a staff member at the front desk on the way out to breakfast and asked if he could talk to a Manager regarding another option for us. He said he would. We returned early afternoon and he was gone so we again spoke to another staff member. She said she would talk to a Manager and get back to us. We did not hear from anyone that day and the workers had stopped for the day so we let it go. Next morning 9am sharp they were back at it. I called and spoke to Mayra the Manager on duty and she stated the staff member who checked us in had noted in her notes that she had told us about the construction. That was an absolute mis-truth. We would not have spent our vacation in a room with major construction going on next door. She then asked why we didn't talk to anyone the day before. I told her we talked to two different Staff members. She offered Marriott points for our trouble - we settled on one night complimentary parking but felt that both nights parking should have been comped. That personally will be our last stay at this property but do again want to end on a positive note and say we have had very nice stays here in the past. We are just disappointed any property would move guests into a room next to major construction when the they clearly had other options for us.…
Great location. Minutes away from Cedars hospital. Plenty of restaurants nearby, although we used DoorDash. Rooms are recently remodeled and nicely equipped. Hotel staff is very friendly and pleasant. If you are in the area, I highly recommend staying here.
Great location, property and staff! I found this hotel perfect for my recent trip to BH's. From my arrival to check-out, all the employees at this property were friendly and helpful....especially the parking valet, Jerome. He did a great job of providing me with local information, keeping my car safe and making sure my car was always available to meet my schedule. Thanks Jerome for making my visit special.
Stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights. The reception team that was there in the afternoons was very friendly and helpful. The room was quite spacious and had a full kitchen, which was a good surprise (as I wasn't aware). My only complaint regarding it was that I was unlucky to be given the room directly in front of the lifts, which can get very noisy as people go up and down talking and dragging their suitcases, and at night you can even hear the beeping of the buttons. The free breakfast was ok but not a lot of variety available.
Excellent stay at Residence Inn by Marriott, Beverly Hills. Reception staff checked us in early, gave us a fantastic suite on 5th floor with downtown views. Varied breakfast daily, great location to connect with all areas of city and Santa Monica. Reception staff were excellent and very helpful.
Nice sized room with full kitchen. Minimal street noise. Safe section of town, you can walk out the door at night if you;d like. They offer valet parking and self park, both at reasonable rates for the area. Located at a very easy to find location.
As Marriott Titanium Elite Members averaging 100+ nights a year, we try to take the time to review each stay in an effort to assist hotel management and other travelers. This may be the fist time though that we have submitted a review while still in the hotel. From the moment we arrived this morning and were greeted by the very friendly and professional Valet Frenz we sensed we were going to enjoy our time at the Residence Inn Beverly Hills. Where some Valets might try to "push" their service, Frenz took the time to explain all of our options and associated costs, allowing us to make the best decision for us and our budget. At the front desk we were met by Richard, Mayra and Luana. Their outstanding customer service and friendly demeanor was unparalleled to say the least. Our schedule for this trip required that my family drive in three separate vehicles. Mayra helped us to make the parking fee as affordable as possible. Richard and Luana supplied us with water and extra coffee for the room. Our priority when traveling is primarily service oriented but I have to add that the entire property, including our room, is immaculate as well. We understand that we have a number of options when traveling but it is the high caliber, professional and friendly hotel staff like Mayra, Luana, Richard and Frenz that keeps us coming back, time after time, as loyal Marriott Members. If we could make any recommendation to Management at the Residence Inn Beverly Hills it would be to not charge a thing! Best, The MacLaren Family…
Excellent stay over busy Thanksgiving holiday. Special thankyou to Stephanie D for handling a reservation problem I had. Nothing is better than management who listens and cares for customers, especially old Lifetime Titanium members like me. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Los Angeles.
This hotel is located in a great spot if needing to visit Cedars Sinai Hospital or just want to be near Hollywood sight seeing. 8 miles to Hollywood Blvd, 8 miles to Santa Monica Pier. The hotel was very clean and having a small kitchen is a must if staying more than a couple nights. The beds were very comfortable and I noticed I was unable to hear my neighbors. I would request to stay away from the street if possible as the traffic noise in the morning may wake you up, but it was very quiet at night. I am very thankful I found this hotel for our stay. Check it out!!
Stayed here for 20 months, since March 2020. Thanks to the nice and helpful hotel staff and comfortable rooms it feels like home. Very convenient location - close to everything you may need during your stay. Fully equipped kitchen helped a lot during the lockdown. Comfortable bed, fresh and delicious breakfast every morning, laundry room located in the basement. I strongly recommend this place, not only for a long-term stay.
