My husband and i spent 4 nights at The Omni, upon arrival we were blown away by the elegance of the lobby which still had its christmas decorations on display. We had just come from a long haul flight and although it was only 7am the front desk was able to check us in straight away without any fuss, which...

We've stayed there several times and it was always good but not always that efficient. Our recent short stay changed all that; everything worked like clockwork, room service, our reservations, the room and the staff. It is a comfortable well located hotel and makes it easy on the guests. I recommend it whether for business or if you want a...

I booked this hotel after reading all the positive reviews here on TripAdvisor. This was my first trip to L.A so I was really not sure where was a good place to stay at. As I'm a city-girl, I thought being in "downtown" was where you need to be for convenience (i.e near to malls, near to metro etc). I...

We are truly embarrassed and disappointed to hear about your recent experience with us. We pride ourselves on the service we provide to our guests, and we obviously failed to provide that type of service at check-in. Please rest assure that your feedback has been taken seriously, and we will use it to continue improving our communication to our guests....

This hotel has been my home for the last week and I have a week to go. It's a good hotel for business, the meeting spaces are very nice and the catering is good for hotel food. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely finished. It's a little trek to Santa Monica/The Hills/Hollywood, but if you need to be in...

If you want a solid business hotel in down town this will do you nicely. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, everything you need is in the room, good availability of power points. The internet is fairly fast and the staff helpful. It is also in a very quiet location so you are not too troubled by road noise....

I take frequent homecations at the Omni to enjoy concerts at Disney Hall and exhibits at MOCA. (Don't miss Warhohl's Shadows - it is leaving soon!) With Omni's town car service it is easy to ride down the hill for excellent pork belly udon at Monzo. The lines may be longer at the restaurant next door, bu insiders know that...

We had a delightful time! So close to everything! Such a fantastic location with spectacular views. The staff was so nice friendly and helpful. Whatever you want it is here, from Starbucks coffee to Sushi, or a quick sandwich on the go.

The Omni in downtown Los Angeles is a very clean and safe hotel with a friendly, accommodating staff. The location is perfect for the first time visitor to the city or a regular. If you are a fan of the arts, the Los Angeles Music Center is only 1/2 block away; an easy walk. They have a complimentary shuttle service...

We stayed for 3 nights Just before New Year. Perhaps because we booked two rooms and one was not ready, we were upgraded to the club floor and took advantage of the recently re-opened lounge. The lounge was nicely updated, and the evening food and drinks were far above average. On one of our 3 nights we did not even...

I was very impressed how friendly the Hotel staff was and the overall of the Hotels Beautiful Lobby . I just wished that they did not charge $40 dollars a day to park my car. Also Wi Fi should be free. The 6$ fee for drinking water was a surprise too.

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
