On our recent West Coast road trip, we stayed in 5 hotels - this one was our favourite from the kids' perspective - the bar area had an extension with several 'games' that kept the kids entertained for ages. In addition to this facility, the...More
I've stayed at this property a number of times and like it because of its location. Last year they started to do a refresh of the rooms and lobby area. It really came together nicely. The rooms were always nice, but the new decor makes...More

My title is curiously counter-intuitive to my experience - When I saw where the Hotel was located I was initially disappointed - however, what I found was that the Hotel was actually in a perfect spot- positioned in Westwood you can travel to trendy NOHO...More
We were looking forward to staying at Hotel Paloma’s to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Unfortunately, the romantic room for which we were hoping was instead a utilitarian business room at the end of a rundown hallway. Food service was order at the cashier, pick a...More

Valet parking only which is almost $50 per night with tax! This does include in and out privileges. Unfortunately there are no other parking options. If you are lucky to find street parking, you will still have a decent walk and it's only for a few hours, not overnight. While this hotel is an excellent location as far as driving distance, it's in a residential area. No local offerings nearby for breakfast places that I know of. Their other Kimpton property "Wilshire Hotel" has a decent rooftop outdoor restaurant for breakfast, again you have to pay for parking at their property. They do not offer self. It's about a 10-15 min. drive. I certainly think you'll be very disappointed with the Palomar room service breakfast menu unless it's been changed since May. Very poor, minimum selection.
