Great hotel ! Love the pool, sauna, gym, and private parking. Stayed here multiple times and each time was great. The hotel is quiet and walls are thick privacy is great. Clean rooms, sheets, and they’re well ventilated . Shoutout to Pil!
Came for our anniversary and had fabulous experience. Ivan at the front desk made reservations for dinner and then cocktails after and on top of that, was able to get us tickets to an art show. He definitely knows how to go above and beyond. We will be back.
Had to extend for 1 more night and pil was more than happy to help. We loved the hotel, the rooms are big and the beds are nice and firm. The pool is also amazing with the heat. Definitely we will return.
Had this hotel booked before COVID happened but then COVID came and we couldn't travel. So I tried to get it refunded as COVID is outside of my control so we asked for a refund but were denied. Via a number of email exchanges they simply said nothing much we can do about it. I understand that it wasn't easy for them as well but I'm not going to physically be there so your simply taking my money and running away with it. They did offer a voucher which lasts 1 or 2 years; that was no use as I knew COVID would last much longer, and it did. If they simply said, we can refund but need to charge you a little of the haste, paper work and so on then that's understandable but this was a joke. Due for the above reasons I cant recommend them at all.
This hotel is a very great hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Very clean rooms as well. Pil was very helpful with us checking in. Came in at the very last minute and they accommodate anything I needed
I don’t even know where to begin. We were excited to visit the Hollywood hotel! The excitement was shortlived when we got our first room. It was NASTY. Of the 50 hotels i have visited the last 5 years, this one is the worst. 1. Rooms are extremely worn Down. Rust, stains, dirt etc. 2. Aircondition not working properly and if on, so loud you cant sleep with it on (even on low. In fact, changing fan speed didnt do anything). 3. Toilet is running and flushes by itself for some reason.. so loud. 4. Fridge is humming like crazy. Even on lowest setting. I am a heavy sleeper and i can usually fall asleep even with noise… but not here. This is next level. We got a new room but issues were the same which seems to boil down to; this place needs to be torn down and rebuilt OR massive renovation. I have complained to the front desk 5 times now and all they do is “we can send you the maintenance guy”… who have been here 3 times already…. They dont Seem to Care. For a hotel that takes 200 dollars a night this should be criminal. Not only does the hotel suck, they even charge 29 dollars a day for parking… like wtf? Why is this not a service you provide for free, when you have a huge parking lot and the rest of the hotel is falling apart? Only good thing about this hotel is that the pool area is somewhat decent.…
Horrifically bad experience. I booked online with a “promo rate” that was nominally below list and in return was given an in renovated room without a working toilet, broken A/C, none of the promised amenities that were requested (foam pillows, etc) Further, I was placed in an area of the hotel that was under construction - meaning, every morning I was awakened by what sounded like a jackhammer next door. Also, there is no breakfast, comedy club, bar, or anything else touted online. This is a bare bones, 2 star hotel in a sketchy neighborhood, trapping unwitting travelers with doctored photos of the property online
We stayed at the Hollywood Hotel for one night. Our first time in LA. Several people just hanging out around the outside of the property seemed sketch. We got buzzed in, checked in. Staff was nice. I drove around to the secure parking lot and got buzzed in. I noticed the nice fountain in the photos was dry as I entered the hotel. I found my room, it was fairly small. Only one lamp worked in the room. Pillows were lumpy. Some outlets didn’t work and one was very loose. The bathroom shower was tiled but didn’t look like a good job. Some kinda attic access panel crudely screwed shut above the shower. If I recall the toilet ran some. You can tell it was a older property, it was remodeled, but seemed like it was mostly cosmetic and real issues like outlets were over looked. For $243 a night I expected a bit nicer. Between 1am and 7am a vehicles alarm went off in their secure lot no less than 5 times.…
Pil was amazing and kind. He knew what he was doing and had excellent service. Room was clean and was a great stay. There was a small fitness center and a nice outdoor pool. Definitely worked great for our 4 day stay. Thanks!
Had a great stay at the hollywood hotel with the assistance of Pil. With 4 nights stay he assisted us on several hot spots in Los Angeles. The room has a view of Los Angeles at night and it was wonderful. Definitely a recommendation to all for a short stay
