The staff at Sofitel were nothing short of friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent, the room was clean, and the valet parking was our favourite part! Willy from Valet treated us with respect and always made sure we were satisfied. All of the valet staff were professional and kind. The location was convenient and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. I would recommend Sofitel Beverly Hills to anyone looking to stay in the area.
From check in to check out, I really enjoyed the experience. The staff are friendly and efficient and just 'cool people', The room was pretty much everything I expected form a quality and value perspective. The hotel is centrally located and pretty easy to get to Beverly Hills or downtown. The only slight disappointment is the pool, which is a bit basic. Would give the hotel a 8/10 and recommend it as a solid option.
you can bring a family here, have a bougie day night or be just dte (down to earth). the staff have been here since it's opening when it originally served a lot of the local la corporate culture. so the fact that as a unit they have readied themselves for all people, and share dte Los Angeles love, it's worth the effort to stay here. sure, of course, Beverly Center (which has Chef Nate's restaurant in it), is across the street. sure it's in the bh zip code. whatever. just enjoy the people and the pool and all that you need. particularly your faith in humanity. ❤️
I was extremely happy during my stay. A special thanks to Zervando, he made my stay awesome and he really delivered the 5-star hospitality experience. Very respectable person and helpful indeed. If I could add more than 5 stars, I would. Outstanding experience from Zervando.
Not overly impressed. There was a mix up with our booking, which was fixed, but not until it caused us quite a bit of stress and inconvenience. The suite we had looked as though it had half the furniture missing. Generally, the hotel is a bit run down and in desperate need of a refurbishment! Some of the front staff were rude and dismissive, too: only became helpful when they realized we were Accor members. The bar and restaurant (and staff) were good, but they had limited trading and thus devoid of people, so the atmosphere was strange! Great views, but the location is pretty terrible. Be warned, it’s right next door to a major hospital and sirens scream out at all times of the night and day! We think after this, we’ll let our loyalty with Accor lapse. No real benefits.
This hotel was in a perfect location for everything we wanted to do in Los Angeles. All of the staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating to all of our needs. We especially were super happy with Luis at the concierge desk. He greeted us with a smile each and every time and was so knowledgeable about Los Angeles. He gave us great tips and advice and never disappointed with his suggestions. We would definitely stay at the Sofitel next time we visit Los Angeles.
We stayed nine nights at the Sofitel primarily because of its walking proximity to the hospital and I am glad we did. The entire stay was pleasant although there was music one night but it didn’t go too late and clearly folks in the bar were enjoying it. We did stay on the street side and yes there were sirens going by every night but it’s a block from hospital so not surprising. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. From opening your car door when arriving and welcoming you back each time you return, bringing a refrigerator and microwave to our room, providing luxurious robes, slippers and towels and spa soaps and lotions. I needed a wheelchair to get to my room on a couple occasions and they were happy to provide one. The pool was small but clean and cold minted drinking water and towels were provided. The hotel’s location is next door to a big mall that has restaurants and Walgreens and Target are a block away. The highlight of our stay was the staff. Everyone we encountered in our lengthy stay was pleasant and welcoming. I was pleased enough to join their membership of Accor hotels and I look forward to going back to Sofitel LA…
I love every aspect about this hotel clean room, service, facilities & also the wonderful staff. They were so helpful I would definitely consider staying in any chain of Sofitel in the world due to the hospitality and making you feel at homez
Save yourself and don stay here. Dont make the same mistake that we did. I dont even know how they got 4.6 out this rating. Nothing similar to the pictures 4pm supposed to be the check in time, but frontdesk said room wasnt ready yet, they still cleaning. For 500 dollars a night, these what we got. Switched fr room to room several times.... -filthy, several houseflies inside the rooms were spotted, disgusting -stained sheets -rooms are old,pot and mildew smelly -staff must hate their jobs -very noisy -many shady character loitering around the lobby (where a disco club is)
The hotel is in a perfect location for me and my family. It is central to everywhere we wanted to go. We had some issues when checking in but the staff accommodated our issues without any attitude and were very gracious. Even after checking out, staff member Garik A went above and beyond to provide a solution for a problem that arose. I will always consider coming back due to this staff. Keep up the great work and thank you all so much!! The only reason I didn’t give this hotel 5 stars was the constant emergency vehicle sirens going off at all hours of the day and night. Will try to get a room on the backside next time.
