We stayed two nights there and it was pretty good. Check-in was a bit messy and cold, not completely professional. But some staff members are really friendly and made our stay better.

Cheapish, breakfast, 24h reception, ensuite bathrooms.
Very noisy til midnight, rooms are not acutally 6-8 bed dorms. They're 12 beds. Seperate in two rooms, but no door inbetween.

I didn't expect much for the price and location, so really "the vibe/banana bungalow" exceeded expectations. It's kind of a hostel/hotel, if I was younger and checking out the LA area on a budget, I would definitely stay here... the local tour schedule looked great......More
