A small gem of a location in the Brentwood neighborhood made especially wonderful for a comfortable stay thanks to the great staff, always available, fast responding and so very kind and caring. Well equipped room, very clean, very comfortable mattress, good pillows, I would definitely come back. Cudoes to Brandon, the manager for outstanding attention and care. And thank you all for the good recommendations and problem solving help to an out-of-the-country traveler. Sara
Passed by here for many decades, then moved away from LA and got a chance to come back and actually stay here. Quirky and charming, fantastic location for visiting West LA. Brendon, the manager, is a class act, breakfasts could be improved (better OJ, how about even a boiled egg?) rooms in the back are pretty quiet considering you're right on Sunset. If we can get in next time in LA, this will be our spot.
Really wanted to love this cute little hotel but had a negative experience overall. Bathroom light fixture was burnt out, which affected all the attached lights, making the bathroom dark and impossible to see anything at night. Front desk didn’t have any spare light bulbs and no one replaced the light during our 2 night stay (despite our requests). Very disappointing. The flooring beneath the toilet was in the process of being repaired (we think) so a small carpet was placed over the sharp areas but didn’t really stay in place, which posed a bit of a hazard for bare feet. We had made a couple of room requests when we made the reservation, neither of which were honoured, but we do understand that can happen. Overall, wouldn’t stay here again.
This is my 2nd time staying at Brentwood Inn and it did not disappoint as expected. The hotel is perfect in its location to anywhere in LA and it serves as a good base, and what I really needed was free parking of course. The room includes breakfast - nothing fancy but good enough for you to fuel up for the day on the go. Special mention to hotel manager Brandon who is ever so polite and his great hospitality. While our room is just next to Sunset Blvd, we still slept well - maybe we are heavy sleepers. Brentwood Inn is definitely my top choice whenever I am in LA.
The Brentwood Inn! Beautiful rooms, comfy beds and sheets! Nice continental breakfast, late check-out, but the gem was Brendan Perry the hotel’s concierge! What a delightful conversationalist. We stayed at the Brentwood Inn on the last leg of our week long, wonderful trip to So Cal. The Brentwood Inn gave us an unexpected recharge and we left feeling like we could fo the trip again. Thank you for your hospitality! Strongly recommend the Brentwood Inn. ~Paige
The hotel was conveniently situated for the purpose of our trip. In spite of not having a vehicle, we managed to we all to and from grocery stores and restaurants nearby and felt safe and secure doing so. The room and bed were large and comfortable along with a nice shower and bathroom facilities. Amenities includes a hairdryer, ironing board and iron, TV and Fridge. We both slept well but could hear street noise in the early morning but it was not bothersome. Breakfast was a simple affair hut enjoyable with a good selection of fruits, pastries, cereals along with tea, coffee and cold drinks. The hotel itself is charming, whiles it does not provide a restaurant and bar/cafe there are plenty of place within a few minutes walk. Our only issue we had was the key card system. The key w9ukd NJ or work at all and despite reooromminf many cards, using the all access card,we (the receptionist and ourselves, could not get in. We had to use a master key to unlock the door. We were only here for the night so only a minor inconvenience. It would be a headache if we stayed longer. Hence the 4 stats. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to family and friends. However room 463 should be avoided if you want easy access to your room.…
We had a room with a twin and double. It was a tight squeeze, but the property was well appointed and in good condition. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. High ceilings, nice quality toiletries. Parking was included with the room. This inn is in a residential area, but adjacent to a high traffic intersection. Continental breakfast in a little courtyard area was lovely.
Charming small hotel with an amazing location on Sunset. Love the homey feel and how clean and bright the room is. It’s close to so many places in west LA and the parking is so easy. Perfect place to explore the area from. I will be back here often!
I've stayed at the Brentwood multiple times and it's a great home away from home. "Tucked" into a neighborhood (right on Sunset), it's my go-to when I have to be in town for drs appts in the area, or to visit friends. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the setting is lovely. I love that this is effectively a motel - aka you can park your car right near your room, which just makes traveling easy. That last star is reserved only b/c some rooms closer to Sunset can be noisy, and some are also starting to look a little worn. But I love it and will keep going back!
Recently stayed a couple nights to attend appointments at UCLA medical center. Great location, easy access to the campus. The Inn was incredible. Really cute and very clean. The staff was incredible. Very professional while friendly at the same time. A great combination. We have already rebooked for next appointments- no reason to look elsewhere. Great location, outstanding staff & great restaurants nearby. Thanks for making us feel at home. Chris & Barb
