the carpet looked horrible, with stains and sticky patches. obviously hadn't been shampooed for years, and it made the bottom of my socks black . AC smelled bad when running. phone flashed messages constantly when there were none, but voicemail could not be accessed. i was kept awake all night by children running around in the room above, their floor squeaked incessantly

I’m not sure if this company is franchised but worst customer service by far. Rebecca (employee) did not know anything about early check in and I feel she needs to be retrained because she didn’t know anything. I called to ask about early check in and she stated their was mo rooms cleaned. So from 11 am to 1-2 pm what are the employees doing? Please further investigate to find out the root cause or the rooms and why they are not ready prior to a earlier check in. She kept lying about all the rooms ALL being ready at exactly 3 pm.

I randomly picked this hotel because it was close to my business for work, I work graveyard and I need more time to check out which I had asked the general Manager and she said ok, as I was packing I had to wash my hands and I noticed THEY HAD TURNED THE WATER OFF!! when I left to get my deposit back she said I was not getting it back and only 50.00 will be returned to me, so if I paid a late fee why on Earth would you turn the water off!! very ghetto and unprofessional and ITS COVID 19 I needed to wash my hands I have NEVER in my life had a experience like this before where they turn off the water, especially if I paid to stay later! me and the " General Manager" Magaly L. Moran got into a big confrontation about my deposit and the water being turned off!! I will NEVER EVR STAY IN A ANOTHER SUPER 8 AGAIN and my business requires me to travel every weekend ! such a disaster. they don't even clean the head boards talk about not sanitized properly! I'm appalled!!

Dear guest: First I want to thank you for taking the time to write this review. I personally explained to you that the city had shut down the water and that unfortunately we did not had a specific time when water was going to be on again, luckily water came back at 11:35am, please keep in mind that our checkout time is at 12 noon, I called your room and extended your stay until 12:30pm at no extra cost, you ended up checking out at 2:30pm, at that moment I had to charge you for a late checkout because it was way after our regular checkout time. Free parking on their lot so no having to park on the street. Everything was very clean, person at the front was nice. If you are looking for something inexpensive I would definitely pick staying here. Free Breakfast & Wifi.

When I arrived to check in the man at the front dest openly discriminated against me due to my disability. I have a permanent disability and am accompanied by a service dog. When I went to check in the man at the front desk demanded paperwork and identification from me for my dog. Not only does that not exist in the US but it is illegal for business to ask for paperwork. Whenever I travel with my service dog I bring a copy of the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) to help answer questions and explain when there are problems.When I showed the man the section on paperwork and what hotels are allowed to ask he told me that it didn't matter and that he is required to ask for paperwork. I was very calm throughout the entire altercation and tried to explain nicely that what he was asking is illegal. At this point my boyfriend got worried that I was taking so long so he came in the building and saw what was happening. The man at the front desk then proceeded to say that if I didn't show paperwork he was going to refuse me service. He claimed that he was allowed to deny me service for any reason. I explained that denying me on the basis of a disability is discrimination and not allowed. I had made this reservation in advance and had no back up plan for overnight accommodations. When I asked what I was supposed to do he told me he didn't care. At this point my boyfriend called the police and we went out to the parking lot together. Within a few minutes of being in the parking lot the man from the front desk came out to say that he was wrong for asking for paperwork. He then proceeded to blatantly ask what what my disability is. This is not only illegal but highly personal. I responded by saying that my dog is a medical alert and response dog. The man was not satisfied with that answer and again asked what my specific disability is. Eventually he gave up and let me check in but it was a very poor first experience with Super 8 Hotels. During my entire stay I was on edge and stressed. Every time I walked through the lobby to go outside I could feel the man glaring at me. I had originally planned to stay in this hotel again on my way home from my trip but after this experience I cancelled and chose another hotel that was much more accommodating. I understand that people falsely representing service animals is harmful and this man has probably had bad experiences in the past, but as a disabled person with a legitimate and highly trained service dog this was not okay.
