If you’re looking for old world charm meets The Shining then you’ve found it at UCLA Tiverton House. Everything here is old and the atmosphere is very spooky scary. With the long hallways and very dimly lit game room, you’re in for a scare. Once...More
My husband and I arrived on 11.02 2017 at the front desk . I was seeing a surgeon the next day. The room 268 had huge stains on the carpet and the room smelled awful.

I paid about $180 a night for the single king room which was the second biggest room they have the kitchenette room being the biggest. It was at least half the price of anything else in the vicinity. I do believe I read somewhere no pets. There might be an exception for service dogs. It’s worth it if you plan to visit Ucla. They have free private underground parking which is huge in LA. They also have free breakfast every morning. If you have business or an appointment at UCLA they will take you right to the door in their complimentary shuttle. Not the fanciest but it is right on campus and the grounds are beautiful.
local bus to beverly hills and santa monica beach. we like tio take the bus from westwood to lax since it is non stop and good and inexpensive. there is huge traffic later in the day so avoid uber, lyft
