Visited in the summer and received superb service. Our room was perfect and the view was incredible! Very clean, very quiet. Checked out the restaurant and received great service. The food was great as well.

This is not your normal Ritz Carlton it was in the fact that it was very clean and the staff was wonderful! the rooms are dated and it's an odd layout so it's lacking that luxuios hotel feel ! Lobby is very small... not the place to stay if you're looking for luxurious pampering but a great business hotel !

I was here for a convention and it was very nice compared to most convention hotels. Staff were friendly & helpful. Well located to the convention center but not near tourist attractions and the neighborhood is not that pleasant. I would not recommend for a family trip or couples trip to LA. My wife did say their spa was exceptional.

What a wonderful experience. The desk staff were so polite, giving us water to sip whilst we waited to check in. The room was delightful - fresh, crisp, deliciously-smelling sheets. Superior-quality bath products and a tv in the bathroom mirror!!! Complete decadence, if only for the night.

I know I should've written this review months ago, but business keeps me busy! What can I say about this hotel but WORTH EVEEY DAMN PENNY. From the valet staff to housekeeping. Even front desk staff... I loved it all. The concierge was able to pull off a hummer limo rental less than 24 hr advance notice... amazing. All so... More

Rooms are mediocre. First room smelled horrible. Mini bar was messed up in original and new room (never fixed despite multiple phone calls). Housekeeping tried to check me out while at breakfast at 830am. ... price point is super high. Location if going to staples center is fantastic.

I am terribly sorry that your room smelled lile cigarettes and that we messed up on your minibar request. I hope we get another chance to serve you better in the future! More

Love the beds, atmosphere and front desk. Everyone was super personable and called me by name. I love it here for my downtown LA trips to visit my daughter who attends Loyola law school. Thank you Ritz -Carlton.

This was my first time staying at the Ritz, Los Angeles and as always, The Ritz gives excellent service and has great amenities. I would not give this property 5 stars because I was JUST at Ritz, Rancho Mirage and the warmth from the staff and the food were 2 stars above. Marcus at the front desk was great and... More

Lovely front desk staff and quick check in. Room service was good and speedy. I did think the carpet might need a refresh and the room could use a few more plugs. The bathroom was spacious and clean, with really nice Asprey products. In total, all was terrific.

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
