My husband and I travel quite a bit for business and stay in quite a few hotels. And when it comes to five star. This is it! What makes it five star? The level of service. We checked into a standard room and because the closet wouldn't close they up graded us at no charge to a beautiful suite. It...

Everything about my three days at the Ritz was amazing. There was nothing more I could have wanted. Best stay at any hotel I have ever been too. I will definitely find it hard to stay at another hotel when there will not be a Ritz in the area.

The spa "sanctuary" room is like a neon floressent white light nail salon. The TVs are very distracting and the amenities are lacking no coconut water or refreshing ice tea. Steamroom beds are fabulous and locker room is gorgeous. Massage and service average I wish I went to Peninsula BH. The korean town crystal spa is better with salt rooms,and...

The stay was very average. If someone would like to contact me feel free to do so. There was no going the extra mile and the hot water was not working properly. The food and the service was very good.

Not so Richy Ritz Carlton My room sucks. I heard something is leaking due to rain. Bath tub drainer is not working. Old furnitures. The view is great. Expensive valet parking. Great staff. Old and ugly room.

The room was not clean the toilet seat was put on wrong the bed was too soft overall if I had the time I would have check out and gone to a different hotel. I expect more from a Ritz Carlton and this has most definitely changed my view on what to expect

Honestly, it's not a bad hotel but for the Ritz, I expect more. As other reviewers noted, the JW Marriott which shares the building is much nicer with better amenities. I found the rooms to be dark and dated looking. Carpets have seen better days. The lack of an accessible outlet near the bedside tables was problematic as my phone/alarm...

Dear jyyanks, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your most recent stay. I am glad to hear that the Ladies & Gentlemen's service was impeccable. We are actually in the process of adding bedside outlets and this should be completed very soon. We hope to see you again when your travels bring you back to the Los Angeles area.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Ritz Carlton. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring downtown LA. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are extremely functional with a housekeeping staff that cares.

We had the choice between the Ritz-Carlton and a sister property attached to the same building; we made the right choice. The door staff was very attentive and welcomed us to the appropriately small lobby. Stephen at the front desk seemed to recognize us as we walked in and was incredibly knowledgeable about the property and the many amenities. Our...

This hotel has beautiful views and facilities. Staff was very warm and helpful. Club room had excellent food and service. Would highly recommend Club Level Rooms. Entryway and front parking area was too crowded however.

Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
