We were looking for an excellent hotel in the middle of everything yet close to the metro and we found it. We travel enough to know that renting a car in LA would be nuts. We save over 600 dollars by using public transport which was inexpensive, responsible and a little weird. But back to the hotel, the weekend vibe...

Hello! Our location is prime for doing just about anything you can think of in LA. I'm glad you took advantage of the public transportation just steps from our doors. Traffic can be a little crazy here. WET is great for enjoying the panoramic views of Hollywood and soaking up some sunshine. Stop in The Living Room for Sunday Jazz....

I was going to the theatre across the street, and did not want to drive home that late. So I stayed at the W Hotel Hollywood. I've stayed here before and for the most part, it is consistent. Valet parking is $36 (plus 10% city tax) per night. Service is fast and efficient. Check in was pleasant and my Platinum...

I was there for a meeting for two nights. It is huge and super nice designed. But also not the cheapest hotel. The food and drinks are very nice. But as I am not a fan of hollywood boulevard, I prefer for living west hollywood or west wood area. Or even santa monica if you are there for relaxation and...

Hi Benie, I'm glad to hear you had a great stay with us. We aren't the cheapest hotel, but we also deliver consistent Whatever/Whenever service. We invite you to check out The Living Room or Station Hollywood. Sunday Jazz or Station Unplugged are our most popular events we host weekly. I hope we can welcome you back soon. Best, Leon

Well my husband and I stayed on Saturday night since the next day we were going to a show at the Pantages. There couldn't be a more perfect location. We get the the hotel and at around 2:45pm. Our cool corner suite wasn't ready, the people at the front desk said they were just doing the final inspection and it...

I stayed here on business so I wasn't concerned about the cost, yet it still irks me that in this day and age a 4+ star hotel which charges +$400 a night still feel its necessary to charge for wifi in your room. Come on the W, get a grip. The hotel is very cool, the staff are great and...

With regards to location, this hotel earns five stars. If you are going to the Pantages theatre or walking around hollywood then this is the perfect hotel. On the other hand if you are coming to hang out on a cool rooftop pool then head elsewhere. The pool is small no jacuzzi and not enough seating. The pool bar is...

After a long week of traveling across from the U.S., landing at the W Hollywood was comforting. The Times-Square nature of Hollywood that surrounds the hotel can be jarring and overwhelming...but the W is not. Upon arrival, the staff was very pleasant, informative, and efficient. My room was perfect - clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, the linens...

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
