This hotel makes you feel comfortable and relaxed as soon as you walk through the door. Reception area is very welcoming and low key. It was nice to see they allowed early check in for customers who book on their site. Receptionist was very pleasant and friendly. One thing I would suggest is that they have dimmer switch for all the lights as to make sure when someone is using the bathroom doesn’t disturb the other people sleeping. Small investment but would make a huge difference. Pool is small but very quaint and relaxing. I would stay here again. …
The Farmer's Daughter was the best part of our multi-city Southern California trip. The location absolutely cannot be beat - we loved walking to The Grove and Famer's Market each day. There is a Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and CVS a block or two away for anything you might need. We had a Robin room in the main building on the third floor which was spacious and very quiet. The staff was friendly and welcoming and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more. The whole vibe was positive and we enjoyed our time at the pool and second floor balcony outdoor seating area. This is a very special hotel in a special place and we will remember it forever.…
Fabulous hotel, room and facilities. Staff were very accommodating and helpful, nothing was ever any trouble. The restaurant Tart also had great food and service. Walking distance from great shops, the Farmers Market and on a good bus route. Highly recommended.
Farmer’s Daughter was our first stop on our Anniversary trip to Los Angeles. We had plans to attend a show at CBS studios the next day. I found them by chance online while looking for somewhere nearby within walking distance. This is such a cute and unique spot. We were welcomed to our room with a card and surprise which was such a nice touch and much appreciated. Our room view was also appropriate (CBS). We spent the evening wandering around the Grove and Farmer’s Market. Lots of fun shops (including my favorite macrons from Paris—LADURÉE) and a movie theatre. We also went to the nearby museum. When we returned to our room we had chocolate chip cookies waiting. In the morning we ate brunch at Tart. This was my favorite meal of the entire trip. Do yourself a favor and come for the chicken and waffles. I thought the pool, bikes and books out front were adorable even though we did not have a chance to enjoy them. The only downside was the lack of parking (and the associated extra expense to valet), but I understood upfront that was going to be additional. I will say it was easy to request our car in the morning via a link sent to my phone and it was ready for us when we got downstairs. It was also very easy to check in prior to arrival and to check out. I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know going to LA and would not hesitate to come back next time we are in town. I wish we had stayed here on our way out of town too. Thank you for helping make our trip special. <3…
My friend and I have been saving for this trip to LA for 9 months. We both work extremely hard and needed this vacation. Not only was this our first time on the west coast but also our first time flying so we were a little nervous. After 2 flights and being awake for 30 hours, arriving at the hotel was a breeze. Everyone was so friendly and checking in was easy. We were surprised to here that a friend of ours had bought us a champagne breakfast for the following morning and the next morning the breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend ordering it. Then later that day we got a text from them saying that they weren't happy with the food they sent us so they offered us 2 free cocktails on them! We happily enjoyed them with our French toast the next morning at Tart, the restaurant attached to the hotel. Overall, the experience was the best I've ever had at a hotel and I would 100% recommend staying here and I would absolutely stay here again!…
