I found the Cadillac hotel to be very affordable and comfortable during my stay. The room was clean and nice and the location is perfect. The rooftop offers a great space to watch the sunset. My only suggestion is the carpets could use a clean but all in all it is good value for the price. I will stay again.

I would like to share my experience at the Cadillac Hotel with you all. Before booking this hotel I had correspondence with Jeff the manager and I was really looking forward to my stay and meeting him. My husband and I had got married on Saturday and flew out to LA to stay overnight before traveling onto Hawaii on the...

This boutique hotel is pretty close to everything you do it is across the street from many restaurants and local entertainers what I meant is street vendors the park themselves right up to the boardwalk and they can sell you anything that you are looking or expecting to see there or surprise you oh and by the way the beach...

I live in the city and occasionally just want to get away to the beach. The other reviewers have commented on the extra $8 boutique fee and the lack of amenities, but for the price, I was satisfied. My room has always been clean and the staff attentive upon check-in. Oddly none of the rooms seem to have much of...

I had booked this hotel for 3 nights. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was told there is an $8 boutique charge for internet and cable tv (this was not mentioned anywhere when booking). When in my room, the cable did not work, I called downstairs and was told someone would be right up (it was about 6pm). Nobody ever...

At arrival we were asked to pay an $8 'boutique charge' that is failed to be mentioned anywhere. The location is good, but the hotel was not very welcoming. We will definitively choose another place next time.

No. Don't do it. Bugs. Blood. Noise. A bad history behind it. It is far better to just look for n air b n b in marina del rey or playa del rey. There is no parking, either. The charge is $20-$25 a day for parking. lackadaisical staff.

I agree with some of the reviews. This Hotel is clean, the halls are clean and the lobby. The front desk dude could be a little more welcoming ...he was rather brusque the first time but all in all he was fine. There is fresh coffee available in the lobby only at 7:00am (not before) so if you're an early...

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
