Nice hotel, staff was very friendly. Rooms are small, and bathroom/toilet area is tiny. Room was very nicely decorated. Try Baja cantina across the street for delicious food! Enjoyed the keurig in our room, and free wifi.

I chose this hotel to make a change from my usual habit of staying in West Hollywood. It's location is so close to Venice Beach and there are nice little restaurants close by. On arrival there is parking behind the hotel (which costs $14 a day) but I could see that, were the hotel busier, this would become full and...

I have been visiting LA a few times a year for personal and business travel for the past 7 years. I found Inn at Venice Beach when I was working for a nonprofit and wanted a reasonably priced, good hotel that was still close to the beach. (Not that easy to find in LA!) The hotel is only a few...

The staff were cheerful and very helpful. They put me up in their suite that has a bedroom loft. It's modern and clean and in a great location near the boardwalk. Several great restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Would stay here again for sure. Most importantly, the price was very reasonable too!

Really not much to say apart from I'm not happy to review how good this place was because it will be hard to book it in the future. Love it. Perfectly placed. Perfectly priced. Love the rooms. Love the vibe. Love the location.

This was my second time staying here. Wonderful location near Venice beach, the canals and Abbot Kinney. Can also walk to Santa Monica along the water (about 3 miles). This time we brought our daughter and booked a room with two queen beds. Very comfortable room, great beds, and friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast in an attractive courtyard, and many restaurants...

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
