What an amazing place. We had a great weekend at the Tudor Barn at Milden Hall. A very unique experience. There are some great walks on the farm so we didn't even had to venture far with all the kids. Thank you to Juliet and Chris who were very helpful from our first enquiry to the end of our stay.

So glad you enjoyed the farm with spring just beginning - lambs, daffodils and mewing buzzards! And I enjoyed seeing the fruits of your family scavenge hunts around the farm - pussy willow flowers, last year's berries, cones, stones and more .... thanks for being great guests and please do come again.

I booked the Tudor Barn for a weekend of folk music with our friends as a surprise birthday treat for my partner. I found it online, by chance after much googling and rejecting unsuitable venues. I fell in love with the photos and but the barn itself is much better in real life! Juliet was really helpful with my queries...

Well thank you! We absolutely loved hearing occasional pieces of that wonderful folk music wafting up from the barn to the house and I'm so glad it worked so well for all you musicians. Please do come again next year ...

We had an amazing weekend in the Tudor Barn for our yearly get together with friends. All 20 (plus 2 babies) of us where stunned by the beautiful barn. We had plenty of space in the huge barn, with 3 private rooms for the babies, lovely warm showers/toilets in the outside block and a well stocked kitchen, perfect for preparing...

Thank you for your feedback and it is nice to know (and reassuring for other potential guests!) that you were warm in that huge, magical barn in the depths of January! Please do come again!

We had a fantastic weekend here, the Tudor barn is amazing felt like hogwarts. We stayed in one of the joining rooms with our 3 month old. The kitchen and adjoining bedrooms were very warm with underfloor heating. Facilities are amazing with all you need to cater for such a large group (21 people). Fancy dress was the highlight with...

Thanks for your glowing feedback and glad you enjoyed the various Tudor costumes ... and thanks for leaving the costume cupboard so tidy! Please do come again and enjoy the summer-time activity options next time!

We had an absolutely amazing time, the barn was out of this world, exposed beams, log fire to a minstrels gallery. There was dressing up for the children as well as table football and a whole raft of board games. The beds were comfy and all had electric blankets, extra blankets and hot water bottles too if you needed. All...

Thank you for your lovely review. You were certainly well-tested with the cold winter gales so I'm glad the fire and electric blankets kept you all warm and cosy. Thank you for leaving it all so clean and tidy and being such easy guests. So glad you're planning a return trip!

We have just had the most wonderful stay for two nights to host the occasion of a family birthday. Juliette and Christopher were such helpful and understanding hosts, nothing was too much. The barn itself was outstanding, extraordinary and fascinating. Beautifully big Tudor barn, such a great space with so much atmosphere. Huge space but surprisingly warm. Huge glowing woodstove...

I booked Milden Hall Barn for my partners 30th birthday bash! Juliet was incredible throughout all our emails with local area information, things to do etc we actually didn't move from the house (apart from a mass exodus of the men to watch a football game in the local pub) as it had everything we could have needed! Beautiful roaring...

What lovely feedback - thank you - and much look forward to welcoming you all back! Great to hear both very young and rather older were warm, entertained and happy. The barn is a bit of a digital detox but, on certain days, in certain places you can get 3G! Like you, most guests enjoy the break from social media!

We hired the hall for the whole weekend with all the family staying (15 in all) and had a party with extended guests on the Saturday evening. The whole experience was excellent. The barn was a fantastic venue for the party with great food and a barn dance recommended by the proprietors. Having the additional benefits of the tudor costumes...

Thank you and I'm so glad both the Friday night Tudor evening and Saturday barn dance were a success - always a joy to host such a nice group who enter the spirit of what the barn has to offer! And Suffolk Wildlife Trust will benefit from a donation too due to you being so green and economical with your...

We stayed at this wonderful place to celebrate my daughters hen party. We had a Tudor evening and all dressed up in the costumes provided, had caterers recommended by Juliet. We...

Thank you - so glad you had a happy time with costumes, dance lessons and a Tudor feast! Thanks also for leaving everywhere so tidy and for not using 13 towels - the £13 green donation I made to Suffolk Wildlife Trust is worth £130 towards local nature reserve acquisition! Please do come again.

A brilliant place for our group of 15 (8 adults, 7 kids aged between eight and five) to get together for four days. Right from my initial enquiry everything was welcoming - even down to being advised when a group our size should come to get the best price (ie cheapest for us). The barn is spectacular, the photos can't...
