We really enjoyed this hotel the area some think is a bad area, we however felt safe. I have lived in Long Beach so I know the area can be rough. Queen Mary was a nice easy walk away and the restaurants along the way offer a wonderful view of the Bay at night. The bus service all around was...

This is by far one of our favorite properties and every time we stay we are happy and know we will return. Came for a weekend getaway and again, we were happy to stay. Place is clean and well kept, staff is wonderful and the hotel continues to ear our business. Close to all that is great about Long Beach....

Average Residence Inn. Two bad things - getting there is a pain since it is right near the highway and there is no easy straight forward exit to it. There are also no streets that lead there - you must get on a highway to get to the hotel. The hotel in near the piers and there is nothing around...

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback about our hotel. I am sorry for the challenge you encountered getting to our hotel and hope that once you arrived, my staff was able to provide you with easier, alternate directions that do not require traveling on the local freeway. I also hope you were able to visit the...

Pros: Good location Renovated semi-recently Cons: The hotel charges $5/day for "premium" internet. Not a terrible price I guess, but then you realize that "premium" means 1-2mb/s if you're lucky. It's 2015. Charging for this awful internet service in a major metropolitan area is insulting. Parking is expensive, $17/day. Ok, fine, parking space is limited. I get it. The ants...

We had a great time at this hotel. A few things I should mention as to why I didn't give this a 5. When we got to our room we noticed it didn't have a bath tub, only shower. I quickly called the front desk and they said not all the rooms have them but she would switch us to...

Stayed 4 nights recently. Upgraded to a harbor view accessible suite on 10, with a view of the inlet, and the bow of the Queen Mary. Was nice to have a separate room for living area/kitchen. The bed was decent, but not as comfortable as my 15 year old mattress at home. The free hot breakfast leaves much to be...

This is a very nice place to stay. It is on the other side of the bridge from all of the shops and beach but good location. You can walk on the bridge it is safe. I did that everyday. It is close to the Queen Mary. The rooms were clean. They have a pool. Only bad part about it...

Residence Inn is spacious, with great upper-floor vistas, and a wonderful complimentary breakfast. So why the poor review? Unfortunately, our stay was undermined by the hotel's lack of cleanliness. The elevator had the discarded remains of a bottle of champagne, which judging by the residue on the floor, had been sprayed inside. Our bed sheets had something brown smeared on...

We arrived early and asked for a water view to help celebrate hubby's birthday. Eric Torrez, Guest Care Supervisor, was very professional and offered suggestions on taking the free bus to see Shoreline Village and the Queen Mary while our upgraded room was being readied.
