This is my best pick for staying in Lone Pine! I love the location and the amenities! We will always stay at this Best Western when going thru or staying in town. To top it off, you can't beat the price!

We found our room satisfactory; there was nothing really remarkable, it was just basic lodging. It was comfortable and clean and affordable. We were initially concerned about noise through a connecting door to the next room, but did not have any problems at night when it mattered. Nothing fancy, but comfortable enough at an affordable price.

The hotel has an early warm breakfast with views of Mt. Whitney. Lone Pine is close to Diaz Lake and Owens valley. High numbers of birds can be seen, even in the winter. Death Valley has many great sites and is also close by. The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and clean.

This is kind of an old property, but that's the norm for places around Long Pine. We visited here because we wanted to go to Death Valley, and I wanted to see the eastern Sierras. And, boy, can you see them from here. The views from the hotel driveway just stagger my imagination. You can drive up into the Alabama...

The front desk staff was very friendly. She gave us a wonderful room, even tho we didn't have reservations. She also suggested a restaurant for dinner and it was delicious. The room was huge, with a comfortable bed. The towels were really white and new. There were grassy areas with benches and tables for having wine and watching the mountains....

I came into town to find no one tending the office at another hotel I had booked online. After waiting 20 minutes, I left and found a room here, at the Best Western. Thank you for staffing you office!

We have stayed in a couple places in town and looked at a couple more. This hotel is our favorite by far, but often sells out so need to book ahead. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and staff is friendly and helpful. We stay here to reliably get a good night sleep before hiking. Buffet breakfast is fine--adequate but...

My husband and I spent one night here on our way to Death Valley. We arrived after an exceptionally windy drive north. The highway had been closed to large trucks due to the high winds, so I was glad we had reservations as the town was quite full with truckers and travelers with campers that had to wait until the...

The queen size bedroom and bathroom were both over sized and roomy, which is important with a large dog crate in the mix. Each morning we were greeted with a smiling face and genuine "Good morning" at the registration desk. Breakfast is a FULL breakfast bacon, sausage, eggs, oatmeal with tons of sides, fresh fruit, muffins, pancakes...all too much to list...
