We were on a 7 week RV trip during the summer and wanted to stop here to see Mt. Whitney. We made reservations a few days before our stop. So glad we did. It is a darling place with large crushed gravel/sand pull through and complete hookups. Large laundry rooms and showers. A large and friendly staff at the camp store near a gated swimming pool. Unfortunately, there was a fire near Whitney and star gazing was ruined but I hear it is wonderful. If you ever stay here, call early and book a spot away from the highway. This park is right next to the highway. We have a loud air conditioner so it didn’t bother us and it would not deter me from staying again.
Nice RV sites with a very friendly staff. We were late that day due to a flat tire but the staff stayed late to make sure we made it o.k. Excellent and thanks so much! Nice well stock store and it sits directly under Mount Whitney. Pool, bathrooms and laundry room well maintained.
Large, shady spots. Kids rode their bikes around. The pool was nice, there weren’t any chairs, but I’m assuming they had to remove them due to covid. The only issue we had was when we went to dump their septic tank was pretty full, it took 3 times as long because we had to trickle it in, but we would still stay here again.
This is an outstanding RV Park. The staff is exceptional. They have a very well stocked store, a pool, kid play area, the sites are pull through. There are views of the Sierra Mountains and the location is very close to the town of Lone Pine (the portal to Mt. Whitney and other outdoor activities). They offered muffins and coffee in their community room in the mornings. The location is very clean and well maintained.
We chose Boulder Creek as it is a perfect place to spend the night while travelling from Los Angeles to Lake Tahoe. The campground is a nice, well kept place with friendly staff, coffee and muffins in the mornings, and decent sized spaces. Even with Covid-19 restrictions the pool was open, but we did not use it... We have stayed here several times on our trips, we hope to stay longer so that we can check out the Lone Pine and Mt. Whitney locations.
