No frills. Clean inexpensive friendly service family run motel in great location. Walk to shop or eat. Great beds. Good showers. We stayed there to hike Mt Whitney and the extra days used to ask questions at the Visitor Center were well spent. We want to thank the rangers for saving our trip. We also enjoyed some of the many...

This eight room motel is located one block off of highway 395 and, as such, there is no road noise and it is very quiet. I stayed here on an August weeknight for $88.46 including tax. I thought the price was high for what you get, but on this night in Lone Pine all the motels were charging more than...

I stayed here for 3 nights while hiking Mount Whitney. They don't have online reservation, hence I had to call the motel and book. The lady at the motel was very kind and also gave us a rebate while checking out. I highly recommend the motel. It's close to restaurants and the Whitney Portal Road.

Not really any complaints here. small, quaint, quiet and clean. Just off main street and easy to walk anywhere in Lone Pine. Had to ask for ice, but fridge and microwave were included in the room and met our needs.

+s are good air conditioner, lotions and shampoo, microwave, refrigerator, parking OK, good location, decent price, iron and ironing board, good bed, and hair dryer. The place is a mom and pop type motel with about 10 units I think.

The photo on tripasdvisor shows our room. It was pleasant with a refer and microwave in the room. It is a block off the main drag so it was quiet. Also within walking distance of a number of restaurants. TV was good with some HD channels available. Bed was new and comfortable. Cost was $55 plus tax--about $61 total.

We loved staying at the Timberline Motel. It was just as described and perfect for our needs. Not fancy, but clean and provided all the basics we needed in order to maintain our independent schedule, such as a coffee-maker, microwave and refrigerator. We were in Lone Pine to climb Mt. Whitney and it was the perfect little room for us....

This was a very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel. The rooms are small but have all the amenities you will need. Hotel is located in the middle of town. A 5 minute walk on 395 in either direction will get you out of town. Many places to eat and shop along 395.

Very accommodating owners who discounted our room because we checked in after 6PM. Centrally located and just one block off main highway. Older motel but very clean and quiet. A variety of good restaurants close by and all within walking distance.

What a lovely little Motel, only 8 rooms so I can say that. I chose it because I read trip advisor reviews about it and was not disappointed. Irs clean and comfortable, Parking is tight but there is room on the road. The room has fridge, microwave, coffee pot. One block back off the main street so quiet. Good places...
