We stayed at this hotel for one night to break a long journey between locations on a 4,500 mile USA road trip and were pleasantly surprised. Check in was easy and swift with very polite and obviously happy receptionist, we found all the staff of the same temperament, which shows the management have got things right, The room was smart... The room was clean. They provided plenty of towels, big and small. There was coffee maker in the room and free coffee and tea in the lobby which is a huge plus to me. The breakfast was not gourmet, but good enough. Boiled eggs and bacon especially. They don't turn on the jacuzzi in low season (wintertime).

We were travelling to San Francisco via Death Valley NP and Yosemite NP. After a great day exploring the Death Valley NP, we wanted a good base to spend a night before heading to Yosemite. Comfort inn fitted the bill - good comfortable acco, good wifi, good breakfast and right on the Highway 395. Views of Mt. Whitney from outside... More

Friendly, clean, dog friendly. Had a separate patio door direct to outdoor grass and parking lot. Breakfast great. Staff was so accommodating. Across road from Mt. Whitney view. Definitly recommend and will return.

Unfriendly rude staff at desk, noisy rooms if near the swimming pool. Breakfast is a complete joke - served out of a shoe box. Out of town so that you have to drive anywhere for food. Wi-Fi would not work in the room.

Stayed here two nights for day hiking in the area. I cannot say enough about the staff. They really go above and beyond to be friendly...small town friendliness. The hotel was comfortable and the hot-tub was really nice after my 13 hour Mt. Whitney hike. The breakfast was another surprise. The attendant was supper friendly and the food beverage item... More

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel has a rustic feel to it and offers a decent continental style breakfast. There is no elevator near the front desk so be prepared to carry your stuff up the staircase. I would recommend this hotel to others.
