Would definitely stay here again and very convenient to the supercharge. Rooms very clean and freshly decorated. Bed was very comfy with good quality sheets. Everything we needed for an overnight stop. Friendly staff on the desk. Cute town with shops and restaurants. Although we arrived after 9pm and everything was closed even Mc Donald’s.
It might not appear much at 1st glance, but it is more cared for than many chain/franchise places. I believe owner/operator on-site. I recognize the Mr. from previous stays here. Room very clean, A/C excellent, essential amenities prepared. Fridge, micro, coffee - check. Pool is open and lovely. Ice, laundry working. Wi-Fi excellent. I questioned coming back, suspect of lowest price places. I’ll be back.
Very simple motel, but in the middle of nowhere it is great. It had a small fridge and small microwave. Basic parking space. Walking distance to McD and Western Film Museum. Quiet for a motel right off a busy highway. Grateful for a working heater. Friendly staff
We stayed two nights here during a fall color driving tour of the Eastern Sierra. (We also stayed here once before, in March.) We love this little motel. The location is great. The excellent Movie Museum is almost next door. It is nice to be able to park at the motel then walk anywhere in town. We love this part of California and will definitely stay at the Trails Motel again.
We stopped here in between Death Valley and Lake Tahoe. Perfect spot to drive and sleep. Clean room with everything you need. Make sure you visit the national park close buy it was stunning in the day and at night you can see the Milky Way. Rooms are nice but only negative was the A/C was so loud we couldn’t have it on when sleeping.
