How cool is it to stay in a trailer envisioned by the lead singer of the B52s? That was the dray for us, plus, I really like the desert and it was an easy way to convince my wife to go out to Joshua Tree for a couple days. We arrived in late December, and it was cold, down to...

Read about it and have always wondered what it was like to spend a night in an Airstream. Answer: a bit like any other caravan :-) But, loved the remote location (and to be truthful, the B52 connection), although a bit disappointed to see some neighbors relatively close by. Plumbling a bit hit and miss (our toilet did not smell...

I loved every minute here, we had the most magical time! You need to drive to get here, it's in the middle of nowhere really, but that's the beauty! Ideally it's best to stock up before you arrive here, there is a stater bros supermarket about 20 min drive away. We hired a car from big bear lake because we...

I heard of this places a few years ago, and have wanted to visit since, and finally planned a trip out there for the second week of Jan 2016. The place is quirky and dated. The trailers are dated, and the park itself is also dated. Not a lot of light after sundown, so it gets pretty dark, which is...

Lovely quiet spot with great views of the surrounding desert hills with a just few houses within 100 yards. Great for sky watching at night. Post office and very basic shop within 3-4 miles but otherwise Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree are 15 miles away for restaurants, gas, shops. Nice small scale site with just 7 x 1950s (?) silver...

Seriously, this place is amazballs! The Airstreams are perfect, the scenery is amazing and the location is to die for. When I stayed here, there was only one other couple staying. We had a nice fire going and stared at amazement at the stars. If I didn't need food, I would of stayed the whole time watching the animals, the...

We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves, which definitely enhanced our experience, but what an incredible place! The airstreams are so cute and funky, (there was more than enough utensils, etc) with very comfy beds. We swam/bobbed in the gorgeously cold (small but more than adequate) pool, had a beer just looking at the incredible landscape...

I am just not sure what to say. If you are a fun person and you take you with you..good! If you are a negative person you will not be happy here. Numerous Airstream campers - cool right? Yes! These are campers that are truly out there. They have been refurbished but not super well. They are good - not...

I’m not a stranger to Landers. My mother has lived less than 3 miles from where KLD now exists for 26 years. We were visiting for Thanksgiving, so I knew what to expect as far as the desert and dirt roads were concerned. I’ve done a lot of camping including 6 weeks in a VW van across Europe and a...

Stayed in the blue stripe Tinkerbell airstream last weekend. Had the place to ourselves most of the time. Airstreams are cozy and comfortable. Appreciated the space heater on cold nights, but didn't need it to sleep. Make sure you come in the daytime and leave time to find it. (It is a bit remote.) Great for stargazing. Also a great...

“WiFi barely worked in Tiki. Tiki has no door lock from the inside. Light switches are only near the lights, and not near the switch boxes as they would lead you to believe. Outdoor fires are illegal in that neck of the woods.”
