I booked the Windansea room for a 3-night getaway. This was my first time staying in a b&b, so I didn't know what to expect! Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the lovely innkeeper, Margaret, who led me to my room. She is very nice and helpful. The room was very comfy and nicely decorated--just like in the pictures....

We just returned from a 5 day stay at this B&B. While the amenities were what one would expect in a high end B&B, what made our stay so enjoyable was the people we met there. Our hostess, Margaret, welcomed us with warmth and a wonderful sense of humour. Each day at breakfast we sat for an hour and talked...

Each time we have visited LaJolla over the last seven years, we have stayed at this charming historic inn every time. The location is ideal: in a quiet neighborhood, across from the Museum of Contemporary Art, which overlooks the ocean. We love the two rooms that face the ocean, the Pacific View and the Windandsea, where at night, with the...

This B&B is in the perfect location. It is in La Jolla village but not in the center so it is a quiet retreat when you want a break. You can walk to the shops and restaurants (The Public House and The Cottage are 3 short blocks away). The Museum of Modern Art is across the street and the beach...

This was our first trip to La Jolla and we could not have picked a more perfect location or bed and breakfast. The inn is charming, the breakfasts were scrumptious and Margaret was a delight. We stayed 3 nights in the Windansea room which was very well appointed and very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit tiny, but oh so...

This historic inn in beautiful La Jolla is the place to stay in San Diego. We have stayed at several inns in the area and, even though this one is not right downtown, everything is relatively compact and driving downtown to the zoo or a restaurant is pretty easy. After this last stay, we decided not to move around anymore...

We were overwhelmed at the hospitality, charm and quality of this unique, historic inn. The people could not have been more helpful. Outstanding breakfasts in a wonderful setting and relaxing atmosphere, not to mention the cookies and nightly wine and cheese. Plus a few steps to the gorgeous La Jolla coast line. What could be better? We made fires in...

This is an outstanding property in one of the most beautiful locations in the world! The rooms were beautifully furnished and very comfortable and the food was 5 star! A friendly and very accomodating staff made this an exceptional stay over a long weekend. Fresh cookies every day along with a wine and cheese offering every evening were great touches....

We were immediately greeted by friendly staff and upgrated to a room with a small patio facing the ocean. Just a short walk to gorgeous beaches and bustling downtown, but the Inn is quiet with lots of little places to sit and relax (in addition to our private balcony, another upstairs balcony, two living areas, and a cozy outdoor garden)....
