The onsen facilities in Dai-ichi Takimotokan are simply superb. There are 2 levels of onsen in the grand bath building. The upper floor is gender separated. The lower floor comprises a swimming pool, kids play slide and indoor and outdoor jacuzzis. The swimming area is not gender separate so you need to wear bathing suits. The number of baths in...

When we visited Noboribetsu last time, we saw their fun swimming pool from outside the hotel and promised ourselves we would come back one day. The hotel did not disappoint. We got the hotel's basic package with 2 buffet meals and a Japanese room at South Wing. Swimming pool was open 16:00-22:00. Onsen 24 hours. Buffet dinner at 18:00-20:00. Taiko...

The onsen is awesome! Lots of 'onsen pools'. Fabulous kaiseki dinner - lots to eat. Room was comfortable with Japanese futon. Check out 'Hell Valley' and try to do some of the walks - great scenery Will definitely go back to do more exploring.

Great hospitality, environment and dining experience all in dai-ichi takimotokan. Noboribetsu is a famous onsen place in south Hokkaido. I personally think if u book a fancy onsen hotel, u should just stay in hotel instead of going anywhere as there are not much to do in here. Perhaps a bear park or thermal park are only places u can...

My girlfriend and I spent a night here at Dai-ichi during our recent noboribetsu trip. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room in the south side ( non-smoking). It was the view of the mountain slopes. The hotel had a few types of meal options for reservation eg. Buffet in the main dining or in room dining. We opted for...

I checked into the 27㎡ Japanese style room in Dai-ichi Takamotokan in its west wing. The hotel is a large hotel with several wings, west wing is the building closest to the onsen in the hotel. As with most Japanese style rooms in other hotels, there is a small porch area when we entered the room. This is where we...

From the Noboribetsu train station we took taxi to go to the hotel, but you can also take a bus to the bus terminal which is only about 5 mins walk to the hotel (we only found out later and then we took the bus when we go back to the train station). The hotel has been around for quite...

We have opted for a tatami room without bathroom as there is onsen in the hotel. The downside is that there is no non-smoking room option. Hence be prepared that you may smell smoke in your room. Air freshener is provided in the room which is a good consideration of the hotel. It was my first onsen experience and I...

The place is big and has lots of different outlets. Onsen os great, so as the staff. It's just a few steps away from Hell Valley. There's a lit pf shops nearby and easy access to bus stop from and to New Chitose Airport.

This is the best onsen in this area. They have several pools with clear signs stating the functions/effects of each pool. The dinner buffet was not too bad, but queue can be long during peak hours. Location is convenient, can walk to the hell valley to sight see. Hotel also provide a low cost shuttle bus service to sapporo station...
